Home girl that said delete them people from your social media is so right. I had a friend like that. Drama filled. Had a restraining order on the chick, and would not blick her from her social media page nor make her page private. "I want her to see my happy little life!" Then when the chick found out where she'd moved to and started stalking the kids.....you did this.

Go and watch 'first dates' together (i know this is a program in at least the uk, belgium and holland). When you watch and talk about it and you are not more happy your with your partner, things are going wrong.

This video hit home for me as I am 46 and lost my partner last year. I have come to realize I will be alone for the rest of my life. I am a part of the LGBT community, and the dating poor is very small. It's a sad place to be and realize that this is my new reality.

I’m so sorry for your loss, you’re still very young I hope you find someone new to share your amazing life, most people do not understand how powerful it is to lose someone, I lost my uncle in March of this year it was so painful cuz he was 46 years old, we have never lost any young person in our family before, that thrown me into full-blown depression because he Was A good man and He was killed in this house and that incident stuck in My head most Nights I Keep thinking about what happened to him, and I think of my life Generally, I felt so bad because I hadn’t spoken with him for like 2 years I was running from him as he was asking me to get married when I turned 30 and now I found the one we are getting married soon but my beloved uncle is no longer here to witness it. Now I know good people will always be in our hearts. All my love to you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

When I was young, I was having a really hard time in my situation and my grandma knew it. She couldn't do a lot for me because my problems was something she could not physically fix, but she said something that planted a seed that led to my own healing. It was so simple and it changed everything. She said "this is just a moment in time and this too will pass".

In Japan tipping is considered an insult to the worker so no one tips ever. I wonder what would happen if North America adopted this.

Tipping in America is a way to take the pressure off of the company to provide a livable wage. It increases the profitability of the company and puts money into the back accounts of the one percent who own the company.

I hate tipping, it never used to exist in Europe. The places I worked where they had a tip were often really bad. Rather than tipping me for work or for my service, I would divide the tip with my fellow wait staff and kitchen staff, which I wouldn’t mind but there are always a few colleagues that don’t help or pull their weight so it was galling to see 5, 10 or 20 divided out to them. Then the manager AND THE OWNER at one place I work started taking a percentage. So I started refusing them

Why just pay them a decent wager. So tipping is voluntarly always.
@JustaGuy_Gaming9 күн бұрын
I can confidently say I am cheap, I don't tip ever. I am immune to social pressure in that way. Part of it is probably because I have worked several service jobs that never got tips. People tip the delivery driver, not the people who make the food or collect the stuff for online orders. So I have been those poor under paid employee's and tips are honestly the problem. Companies get away with paying their employee's almost nothing, in some states they can be paid below minimum wage just because of "expected tips". Some restaurants get away with paying servers like $4 an hour when the minimum wage is like 15 because of tips. So that lady saying you hurt workers by not giving tips while true is also enabling bad business practices by giving out tips. People would pick other jobs if the tips stopped flowing. That said you gotta be careful, lot of places try and be sneaky and automatically add the tip into the bill by default and you have to select no tip to not give them one.

To Insure Promt Service. Difference between actual tipped employee in US (when service is needed ie restaurants) and in Europe is overall pay. I agree tipping someone to hand u a bottle of water is ridiculous, but as a server/bartender for 25+ years, I will let u know that, for the most part, we do not have retirement, health benefits, paid time off, or any benefits a normal job would need to offer. We supplement those things with our tips. The better u are, the more you make. The extra money on our paychecks does not cover the essential benefits needed for a sustainable job. Has anyone noticed customer service decline since minimum wage has increased and tips are now expected to be included in your service bill? I have. Fun fact, we don’t get any benefit from the increase on your bill in the guise of claiming it goes to our pay, the employers do. Going from $1000/ week to $500-750/ week and being taxed on top of that makes for a weaker work force. The great staff in the industry will dwindle if we continue to be blamed for corporate greed making the rich richer and leaving the ones who help build the brands as the entitled stepchild of the family. This climate will discourage any Semblance of great customer service unless the companies pay much more than minimum wage they cling to. (Aside from the small owners who are crushed by the increase min wage and seem to be closing in every small town). I prefer making $2.13/hour and relying on great customer service to encourage my growth and prosperity in the field love btw. Have a great day.

If I have to stand while ordering my meal, no tip. If I need to go get my food and drink, no tip. You only tip if are being waited on, standing at a cash register and waiting in line to receive food while others you don't know wait next to you are non tip-able situations. Edit: the server/waiter should be making LESS then minimum wage, which is why tipping exists. EDIT2: People who have massive amounts of wealth tip THEIR servers for good (amazing) service because they can. Tipping was invented for workers who are making less then minimum wage.

Waiters and waitresses do not want to get minimum wage assurance. They want tips. They voted against tips being removed in lieu of being eligible for federal minimum wage. Don't believe service industry people when they say they are sympathetic to non-service industry people. They are just greedy.

Well the union as a whole did, not sure how it breaks down into actual workers. The other crazy thing is it's not just the service industry any more aka Restaurants and the like. Every one ask for tips these days be it your oil change or buying Groceries they want a tip. Even if it's a self service Kiosk in where you do all the work, it ask for a tip.
@vilelive9 күн бұрын
@@JustaGuy_Gaming Yeah, those industries suck worse. But who can blame them? They want to retain workers without having to pay them. My rule is that I don't tip before service has been rendered and I do not tip when I know they're making federal minimum wage. The worst thing about tipping being primarily food service industry related is that they hold so much power over something that goes into your body which you can't see them prepare. If it's a place you'll never go back to again, fine, don't tip. But if it's some place you like, it's almost like you feel extorted due to the idea of food tampering in the future. I think fast-food places are aware of this fear and they exploit it the most, placing the tip at the front of the process. That's the part that should be illegal.
@JustaGuy_Gaming9 күн бұрын
@@vilelive That is the other issue I have with modern tips. Most of it is upfront before you ever get the food. This causes two major problems. First off your tipping what could turn out to be bad service in advance. Second they often know your tip while making the food and as you say might do bad things to it if you don't tip enough. And "Enough" seems to keep growing. Tipping 10% used to be fine, then it was 15, 20 or now it's basically they want $20 or %20 which ever is higher. Basically if it's a cheap order like a door dash thing of fries or something they want basically %50 or more tip, because a mere %20 is only like $2.
@Gallois5910 күн бұрын
Well folks, that's on you. All i hear is a false/misguided sense of pride/flex aka " i am a good tipper" "i tip really well" and bla bla and bla, well now maybe if you were not, situation would not have been has bad and every schmuck and their mother would not fill entitled to your money. You want to show off that you have money, that you live the dream( american dream), that you made it or are above other, that you won the rat race. Be my guest but don't complain when everybody will try to rip you a new one. Here in France we don't like people who show off their money or success for this very reason because maybe next door people live a miserable life and you should not throw your lavish lifestyle in their face .. Ya know we are catholic around here, we don't claim to be loved by god the moment we have some weight in our pocket. In sum you reap what you sow. And don't get me started on thinking that it is normal to be paid 45cents/hour. I think America is culturally bankrupt. "Humility is a hallmark trait of Christian leadership. Another way Jesus demonstrated servant leadership was through his compassion for others. He showed care and concern for those sick, oppressed, or rejected by society." If America think herself as a christian nation then sadly her people missed the plot entirely.

Tipping simply shouldn't exist. It is the employer that ahould pay their staff. Americans who defend tipping are fools and people who rely on tips should get a job where your employer actually pays you. When tipping is mandantory its not a tip. Its a service charge.

I hate the tipping culture in america. How business owners managaged to convince their workers that its not down to them (their employer) to pay their wages but its down to the customers is beyond me. Add to that the differing state taxes that are not included in the prices on menu's and it just makes eating out an unpleasant experience. Service staff spend about 5 minutes giving me service, taking my order and fetching my drinks or plates (which usually someone else has done the work on). So, if I am their employer, at $20 per hour, above minimum wage, I owe them about $1.60 for the time they spent working for me, regardless of how big my bill is. 🙅♂
