Hi mate ive subbed 😊 quick question if thats ok , do you no if its possible to replace every window in a sprinter for double glazed laminated ? Were im sensitive to noise im just thinking the single pane wondows will be the weakest points 🤔 had a quick search on google but no luck. i did read something on a forum about the side windows need to be single pane incase of a fire you need to eacape and with soundproof double glaze laminate there unsmashable 🤔

Hi thanks for subbing and your question, to my knowledge they do not make double glazed laminate glass windows for the Mercedes sprinter as they would be far too heavy to be bonded to the bodywork and as you say would be unbreakable as they are laminated which would be a safety hazard. If you have no holes cut for windows already, I would suggest getting acrylic double glazed opening windows which would be much lighter than glass. This should give good soundproofing and could be pushed out in an emergency. We have single tinted glass all around out Sprinter and with the thermal blackout blinds we have inside this gives pretty good soundproofing. I just stayed at this campsite on an overnight bikepacking trip. It was my first attempt at camping. I did consider using the pub beforehand, but decided to bring my own food instead.

@@livenlettravel6524 I did, yes, thanks. The ground was saturated though, which meant not being able to sit on the grass. I ended up spending the entire time there inside my tent, even though it was a nice warm sunny afternoon/evening. I have a two person tent though, with two doors, so I was able to open both of them to make it nice and airy.

Bloody excellent job!! I did similar,my magnets failed but the screen held in place anyway. I used a quilt cover for the material side and i used spray glue to hold it onto the foil face. Great work.

Thanks both for a great video and introduction to Castleton. We are always on the look out for campsites that are within a walking distance of a nice town, so this interests us. However I have a question if I may, my wife uses a wheelchair which I push, is the walk to the village (and back) suitable do you think ? Cheers, Linda and Roger

We would say distance wise it's a good 10-15 mins walk and coming back is uphill and also there are not pavements for all of the way so maybe not so good for a wheelchair but there is car parking in the middle of the town for your car if you are with a caravan, not sure if it takes motorhomes. We are thinking Tewkesbury which we really liked both campsite and town would be suitable, we have a campsite vlog from there if you'd like to take a look. Hi Gill and Mark, many thanks for your kind reply. With no pavement this does seem to be an issue, so maybe look ekse where. We have a 7.5m and therefore not ideal for a car park !! We did go to Twerksbury two years ago to the CAMC site. As you mentioned we found this ideal and really enjoyed seeing the Abbey and looking at the numerous shops, not forgetting tying a couple of pubs. We are of the the Keswick site and then down to Bowness on Windermere beginning of next month, so really looking forward to that. Keep posting he videos really enjoying them, take care, Linda and Roger

@@rogerlathbury9860 As you are in a motorhome, we had another thought. Lincoln has a car park where campervans stay right up by the castle. We were there for a few nights last year and it was great. You would easily be able to get to the top part of Lincoln which we found the best part with the castle and Cathedral plus good eateries. Cheers Gill and Mark

We know Lincoln is lovely however Linda has recently had to start using a CPAP machine and at the moment we need EHU to use it and therefore a car park doesn't work. We are looking at a power bank to provide 230v, but quite an investment and so I need to get it right.
