would like to put in my two cents...The Legion plays a large part in the smooth running of this island..it's our community center and the hub around that most folks on Bowen rely on for memorials, special events, anniversaries etc... the legion has been there for years and most on the island appreciate all they add to this island .. i admire that the legion goes out of the way to attempt to keep the few who complain happy .. most knew that they were living around the legion when they moved there and doubt if the few complaining lived there prior...one thing that i suppose could be done to appease is providing the complainers with ear plugs for the noise and black-out curtains for too much light...sarcasm yes and i should say i'm not connected to the legion in any way except as a citizen of this island...serious note...perhaps an island wide opinion poll could be used...this institution does need those who appreciate her and those with their complaints a voice to express an opinion...it involves the whole island
