hello, i paid 2,710 yen for a one-way trip which includes the train from matsumoto to shin-shimashima + bus to kamikochi (i'm not sure if they sell it separately). booked the return bus from kamikochi here japanbusonline.com/en/CourseSearch/11600270201 hope this helps! i went last year so the info might not be most updated

hi! i bought it at seoul gyeongbu bus terminal - but it was the last seat available for the next few buses, so you might need to be prepared to wait, or you can try booking online. it's 22,300 won for a one-way ticket

Hello wanna ask! I will visiting kamikochi in mid november. But the reservation for bus is already sold out! If I wanna go from matsumoto to kamikochi by train. Should I making the reservation for the ticket? It would be appreciated if you could help me🙏🏻

hi! i travelled by taking the train from matsumoto to shin-shimashima, then bus from shin-shimashima to kamikochi. i only reserved bus tickets from kamikochi back to shin-shimashima, because the website said that reservation is necessary for that. but kamikochi is closed during winter months, remember to check against your trip dates!

hello! i think it's possible, but the bus trip is quite long (www.kamikochi.org/plan/access shows the transport options). the bus i took only drops us at the bus stops, there's no guided tour
