Played very cheerfully & with a unique yirtuoso brass technique that is Baumann's signature. Great post!

God I am so hot and cold with Argerich. I'm sorry but she is PURE FIRE here. The brisk tempos work.

Which Romberg compose this? Too much composers have Romberg in they're last name.

Why is the second piece so similar to the No. 2 of Respighi's 6 Pieces for Violin and Piano, the Aubade??

The second movement is close to Bach or Mozart in terms of polyphonic content and energy in the frenzied pulsations of Mozart's 40th Symphony.

Mozart has always been my favourite composer, his music was always happy. This is one of my favourite pieces to listen to, who could ever be sad listening to this spirited joyful music? God gave us some very wonderful talented people who left their mark on the world and we who come some hundreds of years later are blessed to be able to enjoy their talent.

These pieces are really beautiful. Sibelius is one of those composers who, like Brahms, has a great sense of organic structure and form even in short scale little pieces like these. It’s never just simple ternary form with two contrasting sections. You always get smooth transitions and never feel like the material is being repeated over and over just to fill a structural template

Amazing piece! It sounds like being haunted/stalked by a killer, who then brutally kills you and the killer feels a sense of relief, there's a lot of tension and release as well. People saying this piece is bad have no imagination or ability to listen thoroughly.
