Sicus ferrugineus, is a member of the Canopidae, a sub family of the large order of insects known as Diptera or True Flies. Insects within this group are often referred to as Thick-headed flies because their heads are wider than their thorax. The adults feed on nectar from flowers and the females lay eggs in bees and wasps in which the larvae then feed, eventually causing death to their host.

You have seen beautiful sightings. And also I enjoyed watching your video. The thin worm could be the tapeworm an the species Amphiporus , It is very similar to that because they are quite thin. But i do not for sure. I loved the shark egg. Think a seabirds have already pecked into it. That's a shame and sad then. Greetings Tine

Thanks. Good suggestion regarding the worms.

They do like carrots but would have preferred some seeds or nuts from you by now. Or apples, pears and peaches. It was nice that one squirel did go and try. But they only like it when they can't find anything else and today when you were here they didn't like it at all. You saw one thinking "Don't you have anything but this on you?😊 It was a very nice video you made though. 👍🐿greetings Tine🐿

Thanks Tine. Yes, they were full of peanuts someone else gave them before me. This was the first time trying carrots. I'll leave it for winter time.

Sea anemones are fascinating marine animals known for their vibrant colours and flower-like appearance, often resembling underwater blossoms. They form symbiotic relationships with clownfish, providing them with protection in exchange for food and cleaning. Despite their plant-like appearance, sea anemones are carnivorous and use their tentacles to capture and paralyze prey with specialized stinging cells called nematocysts. Some species of sea anemones can live for decades, and they exhibit remarkable regenerative abilities, allowing them to recover from injuries and even reproduce through budding. They also play a vital role in marine ecosystems by contributing to the biodiversity and health of coral reefs.
