I feel like quitting this challenge was definitely the right call. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED watching it, it was great. But if it was no longer fun for you, then it was 100% the right thing to do. I feel like it makes a lot of sense that the initial fun with this kind of challenge would eventually run its course for you, since you are also such a storyteller and play so in depth, and that is difficult to do with the 100 Baby Challenge. It's been a great run, but when it's time to move on, it's time to move on. Great episode though, and now I'm looking forward to continuing watching your Pleasantview LP! <3

What an ending! Too bad for you, Brooke the Crook! xD The Cassandra episodes are always so interesting. All episodes are great, but she's such an interesting, complex character. On the one hand she really does feel like a villain of sorts and I could never excuse how she treats especially Jocasta, but at the same time there is SO much going on with her that she's just trying so sort out; SO much that she's been through and never really gotten the chance to digest. I feel like she's just trying to keep her head above water most of the time; like she really WANTS to run the household well and be there for her kids, but there's been too much pressure ever since she was a teen that all she can do is try to run the household, full stop, in whichever way she has to just to feel some sense of control. I love how we get to follow her story and all the different sides to it. I loved Dirk in this episode! He may have crossed the line and overstepped a little bit in the past (albeit with good intentions), but at the end of the day he truly cares about his family and he wants to play an active part in his siblings' lives and support them. It was really telling of their different ways to view things when Cassandra questioned why he was so concerned about Jocasta since "She's not even your sibling", while Dirk was just like "Sure, but she's still part of this family". I loved that response because, yeah, she's not his little sister, but she's still family and she's a CHILD. Why wouldn't he care? But Cassandra doesn't see it that way, at least not with Jocasta. I feel so bad for that little girl. And oh my gosh, Mary-Sure! xD That was so funny! I suppose we can't really blame her for being suspicious, but the fact that she followed him and just strolled on over and then took off like the wind upon spotting him with Bella! I feel bad for her of course, but yeah, that was hilarious! xD

This family was really sweet in a lot of ways. I felt your pain when you moved them in and set up their apartment all pretty and then realised how quickly they were going to need to move house though 😂😂 is that a one day pregnancy mod that you play with? It happened so fast!! Baby Eric is so sweet, I am excited to see the first baby in Downtown!! Also, that spreadsheet, oh man. I need to re-watch how you set all of that up lol it's too pretty I can't deal 😂

For some reasons I think their parents were known criminals who were caught and soon ended their lives in prison. Ray ran away from home, as he realized what they were doing, and for a while was forced to do science, although he always dreamed of a sports career. Dominic was younger, and they managed to get him involved, but since it was through no fault of his own, the authorities treated it loyally. Perhaps he also decided that past criminal experience would be useful in intelligence, and so he chose that direction. I would say that the past experience was so challenging for him that now everything comes easy to him. This may also explain why Nolan has a career in science and moved to another city with his brothers ❤ It also explains why they talk about crime over breakfast. They were raised that way, but chose the right path in life 😅

Just finished this little machinima series, I was incredibly moved! Your storytelling skills are beautiful and your write children especially well, they are difficult to get right I feel but they sound so real and authentic. I cried hard at the scene where the twins said goodbye to Herb, but especially loved the scene with Angela and Lilith towards the end, their coping skills are so different but you can really see the love is there. I'm glad in your let's play they were able to repair their relationship eventually. Really happy I took the time to go back and watch this!! ❤❤

I know why the intelligence career is so popular in this town, reminds me on Totally Spies and the building where the agency was located. Downtown has a lot of high-rise buildings as well, many sims live here, so it's a good place for Spy headquarters 😎💫 plus employees can easily go undercover.

I had the same situation. My Sims lived in a house. To one family I could sell and to another I could only give. Very strange. So I just used Moniques computer to transfer funds for that situation. Still don't know what caused it

oh man everything is so fleshed out and all the sims have so much work put into their story, the neighbourhood looks beautiful..i think i keep making the mistake of having too many hoods connected so then it's too much to do it all... but i don't want to restart again lmao. The university is looking amazing, i love the library, i know there was a bunch of houses i liked too but i've been watching this in parts and forgot which were my fav. You make really nice builds tho, and the neighborhoods always look cohesive and have their styles.

I know I've said it before but it honestly cannot be said enough: You are SUCH an amazing storyteller! I love your videos so much and I only ever watch them when I know I can give them my full attention because they're SO GOOD. I love how nothing is just black and white and your take on these sims is so deep and nuanced. I feel like most people view Angela as selfish and bratty who was her parents' favourite and she took full advantage of it, while Lilith is viewed as a victim who was the black sheep of the family and treated horribly. And don't get me wrong, I absolutely understand where that's coming from, considering everything. But I like to think there's more to it than that and that in their own ways, both girls are victims of their awful parents (who may or may not have MEANT to be awful, but unfortunately have been just that). There is no doubt Lilith was mistreated and my heart aches for her. But in my mind, I've always viewed Angela kind of like Isabela from Encanto. On the outside she's viewed as "the golden child", the perfect daughter who can do no wrong, but in reality she is terrified of being anything else because she isn't ALLOWED to make mistakes; she HAS to be perfect and her parents always expect her to be and anything less than that is simply unacceptable. I feel like your take on this family is similar to that, except even deeper and with a full backstory to go along with the current storyline. The conversation between Mary-Sue and Angela was so well made. The way Mary-Sure puts all her hopes and dreams on Angela, but still cannot bring herself to actually praise her or say anything genuinely nice to her. Everything is so back-handed, like "You're sweet, but dumb", basically. Nothing Angela does or says is enough and there's just so much pressure. And the way Angela tries for a moment here or there to explain how she feels or stand up for herself, but gets immediately shut down and right away she turns back into a timid child who just wants her mother's approval. Like I said, your storytelling is incredible. I love how nuanced both Angela and Lilith are, and even with Mary-Sure it isn't as simple as "she's just a terrible mother", because deep down I feel like she does have good intentions. It's so interesting to see how you play your game and I love following all these sims' stories so much. <3

Still got an hour left and looking forward to the rest but commenting early because I just have to say how amazing the cats look, and also share the frustration when it comes to being able to sell pets. I'm wondering if its because its an apartment lot and not residential? One of my mod ideas is to "add the ability to use the sell/give pet interaction on other lots like community lots or when you're playing as another household and have made the sim selectable" so perhaps that would need applying to apartments too, but its interesting that you did have the give pet interaction available🤔

I think when you want to sell a pet to another sim, it will show up under "Sales..." in the pie menu, but giving pet away for free is under propose? At least from what I can remember

do they usually not have whiskers...how did i not notice. so many cats, i love them! i adopted a cat for a sim family recently and didn't notice it was an elder so the grim reaper coming out of nowhere was a surprise... normally i age them down so i get more time with them. I love kittens and puppies in this game they are so tiny. lmao bella in the hospital gown, she needs to party. i really like the bar/club lot.

As I was rewatching this I just wanted to note that you can make the rotatable driveways work with the park in the car park mod. They just can’t be in your downloads folder at the same time. So, when you build, you put only the rotatable driveways in, and when you’re done, you just swap it for the park in the car park mod. This way you can have rotated driveways and the sims will still park in them! Also I think someone on MTS made the vanilla garage doors rotatable as well

I love the way you’re playing with the nursery and schools - I couldn’t do it because I’m way too impatient and can’t be bothered to go to the effort but I’m loving watching you play this way! It’s really refreshing. 3. I have no idea how your game didn’t crash, my game starts to throw a wobbly when I get more than 8 sims on my lots (and most of the time, even getting to a community lot!)
