This skit was hilarious, partly because Dean and Jerry were in such a playful mood. You could tell just how close these two were. When Dean laughs at Jerry throughout this sketch, it was for real. Their chemistry was unreal.

Another thing , entity , person or persons that i would put on my list to live forever!!! Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis together.... Martin & Lewis.....were so talented on their own but together were lightning in a bottle and so full of magic that i feel they could of succeeded in any era of movie making and in any era of television. Imagine if Martin & Lewis were in their prime together in the 80's , 90's , or 2000's??? They would be killing it in Showbusiness! Movies , television , live shows on stage in the clubs , live on television talkshows. They were and still remain today the greatest comedy team that ever lived!! I think the song at the end was more attempts to deflect from their break up rumors because their last film was still coming out. But it was a little sad if that was the very last thing that their fans saw live on their television show. 😢 😅 Long live Martin & Lewis!!!!

I think Dean and Jerry were really scared stiff by Burt! 😆 13:01......... Burt - " dont slam the door in my wife's face!!!! " Jerry - " i thought she was leaving!!!!!!!! " 😆🤣 the way Jerry screams back at Burt trying to be just as loud and tough sounding but then coiling back his body up against that door in a scared defensive position while stretching his neck and face out towards Burt trying to make an angry face with a scoul was hilarious and comedy genius! I wonder if they rehearsed it that way? Burt acts and stays in character so well that it kept Dean and Jerry up on their comedy acting toes. Burt - " isnt she lovely? " Dean - " she's alright " Burt - " isn't she beautiful? " Dean - " if you like that type " 😆🤣 To me Dean could be so funny also and just naturally. 16:16...... Dean - " don't stretch her!!!! " haha 🤣😂 i wonder if this was an ad lib from Dean! This is a great example of Dean's ability to be naturally funny off the cuff ad libing. So many times Dean could say something off script and have Jerry cracking up laughing beeaking character from the scene. But Burt working with Martin & Lewis was comedy gold! I wish he would have done more skits with them. What's the name of this sketch? I'd call it.... What a slob!!!! 😆

This one clip has it all! I love how free and happy they look at the end. Jerry's skill in switching up his voice and his facial expressions, at a moments notice, is so remarkable. I think people miss the subtlety and incorrectly dimiss him as just broad and crazy, but there is always a specfic intention behind the movements, reactions and expressions. Just going from his "serious face" to the recognition that the photo is his mother, for example, is subtle but fully committed and tells an entire story in 2 seconds. So much of what he does is so well executed. He's in on the jokes, he is creating them, commenting on them and enjoying them with us all at once. It's truly fascinating to watch and i never get tired of it!!

For me, this is one of Dean's funniest skits (I'm not a real big fan of Jerry's because of the kind of person he was). Even in this skit Jerry's making fun of Dean's last name. It seemed like he had to belittle people around him so he'd feel superior. Anyway, I know this isn't politically correct now, but it is funny the way Dean is such a straight man until the end. Dean's also so cute doing the introduction and 'commercials. Face it - Dean's just adorable ❣❣❣😘
