what was the April weather like for driving besides what shown on the video? Thinking of renting a car there next month

Basically if you get lucky it is like this (I mean a lot of sunshine shown in this video), but mostly it will rain. There might still be snow storms during this period, early april is basically still winter especially in the east/north.

I'm going early April. Am using www.road.is/ to check weather conditions. Hope there aren't too many massive snow storms when I go, I want to rent a car too.
