Dick heads talking about a quiet idle on a piece of shit four stroke. At speed they are just as loud... Stupid weight that makes the boat (never designed to carry it) handle poorly ... Four stroke engine mounts can't handle the weight and flog out prematurely.... Four strokes vibrate like orbital sanders not to mention are gutless and basically just change note and get louder instead of actually accelerating when more throttle is applied. In order to get weight down on current four strokes you now see tooth pick drive shafts in Yamaha's... And valve train components that are that thin they can snap without warning and wearing faster, Also any commercial operator knows to get big hours from a four stroke you absolutely must change the oil and filter no longer than 100 hours operation... Servicing costs (if done properly) are huge! And if not serviced right with all anodes etc replaced yearly minimum you can expect problems that will see you taking the engine to the tip as cylinder heads etc are insanely priced. It's a shame Evinrude had poor management and marketing with Etec.... As another poster said there is absolutely nothing a four stroke can do better. G2 etec's used the same sort of fuel and up to 20 times less fuel at idle and low speed then four strokes . Oh did I mention the prices we are now seeing with current four stroke outboards...

I do that on a river with a current and try it in the wind. It is much more difficult.

this boat is brand new. We only had it up to 27MPH on GPS. Top Speed on it should be around 50

We’ve tested this boat out w/3ppl and it runs 41mph on GPS. More is always nice but all depends on your budget

Like the boat excepted it is very hard to maneuver at lower speed such as loading on a trailer and you can't go near the thing without leaving some sort of scratch, very week gelcoat

you’ll get better at low speed maneuvering once you get more time on it. We’ve had great luck and positive feedback from all our customers on the 195S

Firstly that is a 200HO -300hp G2 etec v 150hp not 150 v 150. And you can have the BS sound at idle. I’ll have the power, fuel economy etc etc all day over the pussy Yamaha.
