Hello epic_brothers1654, no its a different way of viewport shading that I like to use. If you go to the top right corner ( the area with the viewport shading options), you can click on the little arrow opening up the options for that. Under Lighting you can switch to Matcap. The Matcap I use in every video is the clay matcap. Hope I could help you with that :)

@@deadmansgames259 Oh, it's waiting)
@Doldskey Жыл бұрын
Hey, can you tell me what kind of pipeline you have?
@deadmansgames259 Жыл бұрын
Sure, pipeline in terms of workflow? If yes, I first create the highpoly with as much as detail as possible. Then I reduce the Highpoly into lowpoly with a proper UV map to make it game ready. After that I export it to marmoset toolbag to generate all the maps that require substance painter. After that the model goes to substance paintere where I can create the final textures. If its necessary I import all the final stuff into Unreal Engine to test my model and textures :D
@Doldskey Жыл бұрын
@@deadmansgames259 I've been thinking about doing low first, and then using subdivision to do high in order to fit into the established polygonage :D After I make a simple UV and send it to Rizom, there I adjust it by texel and remove it to the overlap side and then export it again to blender and so on))
@Doldskey Жыл бұрын
@@deadmansgames259 But at the same time, I still need to learn how to use substance painter, unreal engine, Rizumu (to make packaging on the automatic)
@deadmansgames259 Жыл бұрын
That sounds a little bit complicated :D. On my first months of learning blender I used the subdivision too because it makes a lot better smoothed objects but the problem on this is you have to do a Retopology workflow and thats a lot of time your spend on that extra step. It is faster and easier to do first the highpoly using a bevel modifier and than creating the low poly by duplicating the highpoly and reduce the bevel modifier. At the same time you have to clean a little bit of your model by deleting some edges and vertices you don´t need to hold the shape of your model:)

Hey man, i've been looking at your videos and they're way too long. More than 40 parts, 30 minutes each, for a spaceship? And there isnt even any commentary, just music. Watching 20+ hours of these type of videos is a terrible experience so would you mind making shorter videos with simpler builds? ❤
@deadmansgames259 Жыл бұрын
Hey Axe, thank you very much for your feedback! The spaceship was made with an AI and half of it is made by me on the fly so it took long to finish this one :D. But yes sure, I can make my series shorter. I already thought that the series are too long. As for the non commenting part, my english in speaking isn´t very good so i don´t think that it would be great to hear me speaking :D. But at the start of my "youtube career" it was planned doing german and english commentary on my videos. If the community want me to speak, than I will do that of course;). If you have any other suggestion or feedback let me know, it would be great!

@deadmansgames259 Жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! This color of the cube is a viewport shading. Usualy Blender starts with the studio Lighting. But I like a Matcap Lighting. Go to your Shading tabs (where you change your shading from solid to rendered for example) Under that you have the options Studio, MatCap and Flat. Under Matcap you find my current Studiolight. It´s called clay brown and it´s in Blender vanilla:)
