it doesn't use ink. the special paper that it uses is thermal printing paper. :) you have to use the paper it comes with and the paper they sell for it. it's pretty awesome. in the settings there's also a print contrast setting which helps you get either a lighter or darker look. there's also 2 settings: dot matrix or greyscale. you choose the one you prefer. 👍

i haven't held the camera up to my face, cuz prior to using this Canon T6 DSLR i was using the Nikon Z30 which doesn't have an EVF. The viewfinder is the screen on the Z30. This camera's smell reminds me of my 1st DSLR the Nikon D3100 which i got March 30th 2013. The Nikon D3100 was an entry level camera and this Canon T6 was an affordable DSLR at debut too. Maybe Sony smells different, because they use different materials. When I used my friend's Sony A7iii in 2019 it felt heavier. Maybe like metal or something. I don't remember the smell of that camera. It might look strange if i did a sniff comparison of cameras at Best Buy. 🧐😹

Now the camera is welcome as part of who i am. I live in the moment. There are sometimes where i don't take photo or record video. Other times i do. It's just a mix. :)

i'm an Aries. I have some videos about low priced cameras. My take on them is that it's a great thing to have a dedicated camera. Even if it's not super fancy. It's about the intention that when you pick up a camera, you're gonna take photos and videos of things you are interested in preserving so you can tell yourself and other people stories about what you see. I have had moments where i've had cameras or used my iPhone camera. If you're super interested in photo/video i'd recommend making gradual investments in gear that will make taking photos and videos more enjoyable for you, but there is no rush. Really maximize the camera you have. Take it to its fullest potential and then go from there. 👍 & back up your photos/videos! :)

hi! :) Autofocus Mode: AFQuick you can't refocus while recording using this setting. it's meant to help you focus quicker, but it blacks out the screen for a quick moment. White Balance: it depends, but if you aren't sure you can set it to auto for now My Picture Style is Standard with Modifications sharpness +7 contrast +2 saturation +1 color tone +1 autocorrect image brightness and contrast: OFF 1920x1080 30fps 29.59 video snapshot: OFF ISO: it depends, but you can set it to auto if you are not sure how to set ISO for now

the SD card is for saving videos you may record and saving your images digitally too. it's not required if you have paper in your camera and just want to print to that paper when you take the photo.

here are the apps i use to edit video. On the Mac i use Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve 19. I like both, but i have more experience in Final Cut Pro & love the keyboard shortcuts. DaVinci has great keyboard shortcuts too. I have also used Capcut, Lumafusion, & iMovie on Mac. I think iMovie is pretty cool, especially for being a free app that comes on Macs. On Windows i have used DaVinci Resolve 19. The DaVinci Resolve version i'm using is the free one. It's awesome. On iPad i've used Final Cut Pro, iMovie, DaVinci Resolve, Lumafusion, & CapCut. They are all awesome... but have different price points. iMovie is free! CapCut is free with optional purchases. On iPhone i use Lumafusion, Capcut, and sometimes iMovie. Check them out and see what works for you!! :)

@brandnaqua You can take photos with the cellphone in Grand Theft Auto Five (and Online), but i'd be careful of the people! Theyre not very friendly

ohh ok now i remember that feature. now that you mention it. unless i'm thinking of them just having cellphones in GTA 4. My dad and brother had GTA 4. Maybe they even had GTA 5, but i didn't pay too much attention. :p

for editing i used DaVinci Resolve 19 on the Mac. It's the free version. It's pretty awesome. DaVinci Resolve is also available on some iPads. :)
