Hello again! Difficulty in this learning is because; What you learning it’s not Persian. People in Iran call it Farsi which has 55% islamic arabic words, 20% mongolian(turkish) 10% European words and only, only, only 15% Persian words. Real Persian calls “Parsi” which has more than 95% or 99% Persian words. So now please tell me is that right to call “farsi” to Persian?

Dear Deanna! I was 11 or 12 years young (old) when this song came on a single LP. After a while I saw this picture on Iranian TV which is all decoration “I think” bc background is all white or it could be front of a white wall on the garden of TV station jurying winter time. Everyone in my family and neighbours, we couldn’t get enough of this song and now after more than 50 years every one steel loves this song. Well »آبادی مو« Abadi mo means my village, but here I think he means “All my existence, all I made up “ Lovely Deanna! It would be awesome if you play this song by your guitar and sing it!(maybe you have all ready did it) Your voice is perfect and beautiful for this song. I know you mostly are focused on Persian music which is really an amazingly beautiful language. However. Please do check out Coke Studio Pakistan songs in Urdu and Punjabi. For example TU JHOOM. Or. 2AM. Or O Yaara. I would suggest starting with TU JHOOM but without stopping it or any interruptions. It will put you in a trance , take you to another realm and act like a soothing therapy.
