I bought hotline miama after a few years of hearing people say it’s such an important game, I was hesitant because it was a top-down shooter and I really only like 1st and 3rd person games, I was instantly hooked. The story, gameplay and soundtrack are so good, it should be illegal.

I remember, long ago, my grandmother was on her deathbed. Her cancer had rapidly started to take hold, and we all knew her time was coming later that day. My mother checked my brother and I out of school, we both kinda knew what was happening without it being said to us. When we got there my Dad answered the door, he immediately hugged me and whispered something to me, “I need you to sing to her son.” So we went in, my father and I, along with all our extended family, and I chose this song first. There was just something about it that felt right to me. This song will always have a special place in my soul, it’s the last memory I have of her, and that she has of me.
