Why do we Canadians not give more time & respect to the men & women who gave their lives for Canada?? We should all consider Halifax & how real war is. The Germans wanted Canada out of the First World War. The result was the Halifax explosion which was so destructive. Thank God that generation did not forget the horror of war. That generation that survived the Halifax explosion lived on to take the war to the Nazis & answer Great Britain's cry for men & women who would die before they let the Nazis take over their world. If they did not fight & die, how would it be like living under the fist of Nazi haters that comprise a good part of Canada & the USA???!!

In 2020 this has a different tone. I’m honouring the Canadian Forces personnel who served in long term care homes, helping to take care of seniors in the covid pandemic. 👍👍 I live in Ontario, specifically the GTA.
