I've been dating between the Xpro 1 and the 2. Now im just confused hahaha. I love everything about both camera's. I stopped photography years ago and I want to pick it up again (street photography). As I dont have a camera at the moment, do you think its a better idea I go for the 1 or 2?

Just stumbled on your channel via the Ricoh film, then here. Hope you're still out there and creating and hope we see more from you. We all go through these phases and mine lasted about 10 years until a couple of years ago when I dusted off my gear again and instantly got the bug back. Looking forward to more.

Wow. I had the..I thought it was a 75mm Viltrox and I sold it back off because I felt like I was up everyone's nostrils with it. Now seeing you with even 10 more mm getting what you're getting, I clearly didn't try hard enough. ;) Great stuff here. (Sure, it's 2 years old, but KZbin gave it to me today.)

I totally understand this mate, I myself have a pristine x pro 1 that somehow just feels different to pick up and shoot, slowing down, enjoying the simplicity aswell as how the x trans 1 renders colour. It’s a joy to shoot, it also has the best shutter noise in a Fuji camera. Nice to hear a local north east lad putting out some relevant content 🙏🏼

Really enjoyed this one. Please do more of this style, especially in Nottingham. The city misses out when it comes to people doing street in town here on KZbin. It is invariably London or Manchester.

Just found you. We are in Carlton, Nottingham. We dip in and out of our love of photography. A couple of years ago it was all about photographing people in Nottingham. Then the joy wained. Until a few weeks ago and the itch returned. The idea of lugging about an SLR isn't grabbing at the moment. So we have just ordered a pair of old Sony RX 100's. The mark 1's. Hopefully some black and white street photography will happen. If not, we have tiny cameras to carry with us if the urge arise arises. Just subscribed to you.

Ive just watched a video called Souless Street photography. A professional photographer moaning that all street photos look the same, crushed blacks, bright whites, sick of seeing photos of Japan with the same music. An endless tirade of whats wrong. I wanted to slit my throat and throw away my cameras. Not an inspiring video at all. Talk about a put down. We are all on a journey, some at the beginning, or like me a 79 year old who loves street photography. I like mine, dont care if nobody else does. I try and capture a moment in time. People interacting with one another at the local market. Photos of my great grandchildren. I admire your honesty, and sincerely hope you manage to get back into what you love and do so well..

There are times when you simply reinvent one's self. Often it is only a slight adjustment of a rendition, and you are back on track again. Other times we simply need something of a larger change. Whatever the need, do it. If the goals change, find your new target and hit the mark. Some will find something new, and that's OK. Bear in mind life has other distractions and needs, and those can weigh on the everyday, thus it may not be photography at all which pulled you aside. To get back is to get back into it. Once you learn to ride a bike, you need not learn it all over again, simply grab the bike and pedal. I do enjoy street photography and people. If you have a minute free, Google me. Take care, Loren Schwiderski
