The pilot’s communications sound disturbing and very unprofessional but his screaming probably saved his life.. there was no doubt on the controller’s mind what was going on. Another “shy” pilot would have died..

Landing 600 RVR A CAT III approach on a Lancair.. Not crashing and not getting busted by the FAA would have been amazing indeed..

Very interesting, wish I knew more about the players involved. The main narrator appears to be flying beside the stricken plane?

That's his wingman. Usually when something goes wrong, the wingman takes over comm duties and provides an external set of eyes to give a damage report and watch for further problems, so the pilot can focus on the emergency.
