Nimbus 25 I loved, 26 I hated, to hard, noisy outsole and just felt awful compared to the 25, puts me off even trying the 27, should I?

@doctorsofrunning what’s another shoes that has the comfort and softness of Nimbus 27 but a touch more bounce/forward propulsion. I think Invincible 3 have that but sometimes it can be a bit unstable at ankles area. Thanks in advance

170 - 185 lb runner, its winter time. The Triumph 21 functions pretty well as a long distance and my SPeed 2's work well for speed workouts. When I used the Bondi I was not able to listen to my body and ran was injured. My recent experiment with the Novablast 5 is the shoe is fine but I think I can't handle squish. When I had the Boston 10 I was fine with it for about 10 miles. I think what I learned is that I may like a firmer, protective ride. Planning on ditching the NB for the Hyperion Max 2 or something like that for my marathon training shoe. The NB 5 makes me break form. I only get comfortable either at fast speeds or walking, I hate it at 6.0 MPH pace

Do you guys have any videos of PTTD? I’ve had this injury happen a little over a month ago. Been working on strengthening and switched to spinning till this thing goes away. Great news on the other side is my plantar fasciitis that I’ve been dealing with seems to have gone away now.

My Brooks adrenaline GTS 24 seems to hurt my front ball of my foot just behind my middle toe, but I have the extra wide. Almost like it still feels constricted or that muscle behind the toe is cramping up. They've been great otherwise as I need the support for my plantar fasciitis. What do you recommend?

@bluesque968710 сағат бұрын
What were the injuries?
@Jobru882 сағат бұрын
@@bluesque9687MTP joint injuries, forefoot tendinitis, hip and back pain. My toes aren't designed to be pushed up in the toebox of the shoe. It's very painful to me, and I wish running shoe companies would stop doing this.

Great vid! For the AP4, I have a flatter foot, no stability needs and I also land mid foot. Should I be concerned with the cut out on the adidas pro 4? Also 185lbs and I’m shooting for 1:25 half marathon. Thanks for all the knowledge!!

Carbon shoes with aggressive rockers are the only shoes I use for 10k walks daily. For shoes with no plates I use carbon 2.5mm rods sharpened like a pencil, pushed in the midsole to stiffen up shoes and preventing any toe flex. I have over 30 shoes with rods in them. Never had an issue with single rod breaking. I can't walk 1k with flexible shoes due to arthritis in toes.

Hi, to piggyback on Q #2 (on the potential impact of a specific shoe design on knees): are there certain characteristics in shoes, or specific models a person (like me) with a repaired medial meniscus and a subsequent _minor_ retear (that's still there; may or may not heal over time; too small to repair) should be looking at? Majority of the repair (of a larger tear) held and healed, and the knee has calmed down over time and with rehab and allows running. But I'm looking to lessen the impact and load placed on the meniscus. I discussed the situation with my ortho/surgeon and one thing he said was that a fore- and/or midfoot strike pattern ought to be preferable over a heelstrike one. But what about the shoes... A fair amount of cushioning, and a shoe that's catered towards a fore-/midfoot strike pattern, or?

I run both but the Boston feels way more chill easy long run to me than the zf6, which I feel very snappy as the fly plate seems very rigid and harsh

Wasn't a fan of the Kayano 30 - Felt too clunky and heavy. I may have needed a smaller size, but I ended up using them just for walking and then donated them. I'm usually in all Saucony shoes but I'm battling some on again off again post-tib and ankle issues and am curious about the Brooks GTS 24. I need a roomy toe box so check on that, and I'm actually partial to the post. What is the arch support like?

For Bondi - is fit the same as previous model? Previous model was too tight in forefoot so tried 1/2 size larger and felt better but wanted to wait for Bondi 9

This week I got my 26 first pair of ASICS first pair of Max cushion shoes, I can hardly believe it, so comfortable, I got them on sale for $110, by the time the 27’s go on sale I’ll probably be ready for my upgrade, after a week of wearing them I think I’m hooked

Hi Matt, i have the asics kayano 31 because I was told i needed a stability shoe when i did my gait analysis. what shoe do you recommend for race day
@ser1ification2 күн бұрын
My opinion: Kayano 30 compared to 31 has a firmer midsole, a less stretchy upper, and the heel pad on the upper side tears apart easily.
