Great stuff, Matt! Wonderful playing and I dig the sounds you're getting with that Les Paul. The P-90 LP with the Bigsby is cool too. What are the specs on your number one LP?

Thanks! It’s a 59 reissue from 2013. I got that guitar from Joe Bonamassa. It’s definitely got something special.

I was at the show that afternoon. 3rd time seeing you guys. You guys are the best. Im 73 and have been playing guitar ever since the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan. Of all the concerts I've seen over the years, the talent you guys have with your instruments, surpasses almost everyone I have ever seen. The almost would be Stevie Ray, Al Di Meola, Steve Howe. I thought it would be different with FL gone...well, it's actually better I think. More passion, if that makes sense. Anyways, see you next time.

Tuner, wah, colordriver, Pete Cornish boost, Gain Changer, Direct Drive, MXR micro amp, tc flashback, boss dd5, tc reverb, straight into Marshall jtm 45 into a 2x12 cab with v30’s in a separate room.

The way the bass player and other guitar were looking at him and what he was playing at the start and at the end gave the vibe that it was just an unplanned no introduction improve E.J. went into that they followed along. Gotta love the outside stuff on the blues.

Sorry, the bass and drums here are shite. Someone should Keith Moon them. Hendrix had the same problem finding a bass player who could keep up with him. If Eric Johnson could have found musicians of his own quality to back him up, he'd have been huge. Or joined a band, like good players used to back in the day. Love the man, but the lost opportunity is sad.

I've never heard Eric Johnson on anything but a Strat. The SG not only changes his tone but his style. That's validation of why you need more than one guitar...Ima gonna go tell my wife now, see ya...
