Shalom Rabbi Haim Obadia, thanks for the efords, I really apreciate your videos. Due to that in my sinagoge at lakeland Florida there aren't much sefardim, they aren't following our traditions and I'm ended doing it by myself at home, and is a blessing to have your instructive vudeos. Question: What selichot prayer book are you using for this video. Please, let me know, cause I have Or Meir, the Malka Edition, and sometimes i get a little lost. Or if you have any links that could help me, I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Shalom, Dog food is made to be edible for humans by American law (or soo I heard).

Even so. There are two elements here. One is what is unfit for humans, such as detergents, medicine, etc. The other is what was never meant for human consumption, even if it is edible, such as dog and pet food.

Hakham José Faur and the Hazon Ish understood the magid of Rav Yosef Karo not as a malakh mamash, but him speaking to himself. Indeed in the Magid it says it is not his nefesh or ruah but his neshama speaking to him but perhaps that can be interpeted differently? What are the Hakham's thoughts?

You mentioned using the electric oven to heat up matzah would be fine on Yom Tov, but problematic on Shabbat? What's the difference between using electricity on Yom Tov vs Shabbat? What melacha is being transgressed?

The first vignette about dance definitely could have been written today. Fascinatingly, the dance masters who developed the early form of classical ballet and taught it to the French and Italian nobility, were Italian Jews such as Guglielmo Ebreo and Solomone Rossi. Becoming a dance master was a way to escape the ghetto. Male ballet masters trained the French kings and nobles to perform, and female ballet masters trained the female nobility, who danced only among other women at that time. Italy continued a strong dance tradition until today. Art (in any of its many forms) truly is a human need, and it is a powerful spiritual outlet. Thank you for bringing these writings to light Rabbi.
