Was “Soft” the band’s attempt to sabotage the Dolls? lol But fr, the playbook was trash this whole season, but the Dolls worked well with material they had. Kudos, Ladies! ❤

The band tries to sabotage SU DOLLS with their music? You can't be serious with that statement.... SU DOLLS should be able to dance off every song the band plays... It's a thing called knowing your music and how to dance and articulate that song, and if we are being honest... Herb had a hard time with certain songs... Their times when Herb throws the perfect counts, and their times Herb had some hiccups throwing counts to good songs tbh, . But I do agree that some of the SU song choices are not it, but SU did have some songs that were good.

@@CreoleNOLAMixIt was a joke, Love… I apologize to all the sensitive readers who take comments to heart. I won’t criticize Herb’s musicality but that song was really difficult to follow. I don’t think the Dolls were in mind during the song selections this season. Snooze Fest ‘24 🙊🙉🙈

Anyway this is not the first time SU band played those types of movies songs....2017 year Boombox Classic the band played Going the distance,SU DOLLS adjusted just fine with holding their leg up throughout the whole song"""2016 battle between SU n jsu, here in New Orleans the band played joyful joyful, SU DOLLS got through that song with no problem, also 2018 Boombox Classic the band played Batman song." SU DOLLS managed to get through that song as well with no problem,, and tbh I don't think they did bad with this song...

SU band played joyful joyful, 2017 Boombox Classic Going the distance song SU DOLLS held their leg up throughout the whole song, 2018 Boombox Classic Batman song SU DOLLS managed to get through that song... SU band played tough songs those years and SU DOLLS adjusted we'll to them. Herb did ok

Dolls in the past have mentioned hearing songs for the first time while at the game. Why is this the case? Do the dolls not practice with the band often ?

Fabulous season Dolls! Of course, there were some hiccups, but the Dolls rise to the occasion. I’d like to see them sitting closer & in 2 rows again. It compliments the style so much better.

@@alonafide naw the Dolls were off beat. It is more of an up-tempo song, and they weren't catching it. Follow the band director conducting since he's keeping time and tell me the Dolls were on the same beat as the music. Naomi was the most accurate, which is why she kept ending before the rest of the row.

@@cortez9253sure we can see that NOW as we watch it. But in the very moment, I’m sure Herb was just trying to not waste any of the song, otherwise I think it best if she just waited a little bit. The intro for the song had a weird tempo.

I do like the tighter formation as well. I'd also like to see a bigger Doll squad but that's a complaint for another day. Still enjoyed their dancing.

It was a great showing but so obvious that one song was foreign to them. Glad they didn’t try to hide it! While I think it’s unfortunate at this point in the season, it’s a lesson at the same time. Either do individuals or sway for future dancers but above all, try to know your music.

Can somebody, anybody create a seperate individual video of the "Flawless" performance? (11:48-15:04). The HumanJukebox has played Flawless for years but this sounded perfect, & Herb had them dancing in the perfect formation & threw the perfect counts. The Dolls looked good & the band sounded great; thats always the goal.

I can’t believe the season is almost over!!! Will definitely miss’21! Chania-ate! But I’m so excited to see what next year brings. Herb really came into her own as captain…I don’t care where she was my eyes were drawn to her!! I hope she remains captain next year and pushes the envelope even more! She’s needs to be confident in her role as captain and create own legacy as a doll captain. She needs her team to match her style and intensity- so can they move as one. Just the way the team had to learn to do when Dani was captain! Next year, they also need new formations and more all togethers! Super proud of the Dolls! D’tara and Traci have done an amazing job!!

The Dolls really stood out for their continuous counts throughout their history especially on fast tunes, jamming like Seaera. While stand formations are still pretty new to them compared to the rest of the SWAC, they seem to have abandoned all togethers. Hopefully Herb brings more of that back.
