Great explanation for CMD vs Entry point in Docker, if you have to override a cmd then we have to use entrypoint flag then command you need to run

CMD instruction is used as default command for entrypoint. Entrypoint is executed first and CMD acts as default argument to it which can be overridden. So CMD - can be overridden and Entrypoint is for appending a command to it during docker run.

Hi, I had no experience in kubernetes before this. And so I went through the course twice. But second time it was more like filling in the gaps and going through concepts which were not very clear the first time.

Super...congrats... On exam part, On every question, do we need save the answer(configuration) or just move to next question without doing anything...?

Thank you. You don't really have to save anything just solve the questions and you are good. Only if there are questions where they ask you to save an output to a file that can be called as saving. But other than that you just solve the given problem and you are done.

Hi Shruthi, Prior to this exam even I had no experience in kubernetes. So yes you can definitely go ahead with the courses. Just that to clear concepts I went through the course twice. You can do the same along with mock exams.

Hi Pravanjan im preparing for CKA glad i found your video before starting....one question though is kodecloud's CKA course enough to learn kubernetes in general? i mean will it useful enough to answer basic kubernetes related questions in interviews(Looking to switch 3YOE🙂)

Did you purchase (or take a subscription) for the additional mock exams from KodeKloud or is it available on Udemy also? Further, do these mock exams have solutions similar to the KodeKloud CKA course on Udemy wherein solutions are also provided for the three mock exams. Please confirm. Thanks

@@amruthsagar6516 Thank you. I purchased the additional mock exams from kodekloud and it's not available on udemy. The format of mock exams are similar to the 3 mock exams of udemy where after you end exam you can see solutions. Just that there will not be any additional video explaining solutions.

No, you won't be able to access any other site in the exam. Only Kubernetes documentation can be accessed i.e. kubernetes.io.

Brilliant job. Thanks for sharing. Does the exam environment allow a notepad? Can you add notes if you flag a question? Did you get any networkpolicy related questions?

Glad you liked it. The exam environment is an ubuntu machine and I opened browser and terminal in it. I did not open notepad but I am sure you can open the notepad in the exam interface. After flagging there is no option to add notes on the PSI browser but you can add related notes in environment notepad. I did get one question related other than netpol where I was asked to create ingress rule for allowing traffic from a pod. I hope I was able to answer all your questions. All the best for your exam!

@@pravanjanrath, another quick question: You mentioned that you used extra mocks from Kodekloud. What would be your opinion on going for them or three mocks on Udemy, lighting lab, and killer shell mocks, enough to pass the exam? appreciate your help. thanks

@@uzairawan9635 For passing the exam udemy mocks/lightning lab is enough. Killer.sh is overkill but you should definitely go through it as it will familiarise you with exam environment. I went for extra mocks and I went through killer.sh twice as I wanted to learn more. But make sure to score really good in udemy mocks and lightning like 100. You will easily clear the exam. All the best.

One more thing, in the real exam stepwise marks are given. So even if you don't know a question fully try to solve as many steps as you can.
