Yes, using less power with the same performance. Mostly only for efficiency, sometimes in some cases can increase performance

i got same sattings as you but im having problems with the game that doesn't load the shader loads is very sloow and more than often stuck at 0 % making hard times for me, game usually crash after a few if the shader loding doesn't work, tried to empty the shader folder by the option avalable in game menu, yesterday worked but loading tooks like 20 minutes.. so frustrating, now im switching the game folder in the 1t samsung ssd hope that could be a solution , if someone had my same trouble please let me know how to fix that mess , love the game that when it works it's as playable as it can be and i love the game, thatks and i apologize for my bad english

Did you use HDD for your game files before? HDD is actually one of the cause of that problem. And for that shader, you should stand by in the lobby while keep watching the % of shader. I know it's really long, about 30-45min. But at least about 10-15min it should move from 0% to 1% or something on the percentage.

The only advice that I can give is just stand by in the lobby for really long time to wait shader loading. I know it's very long but it's the only solution. But if it doesn't work then I don't know what else I can give the solution. And remember that I only use SSD for game files. At least it helps me for loading related stuff in the game.

Great guide, I am now running my GPU at 87W instead of 100+ and I lowered my boost clock so now I get an extremely stable performance without hitting any Performance Limiters. I ended up going -350 and then +50 at .825V so my 1070(mobile) GPU runs stable at 1645MHZ and under 70C, before the undervolt it reached 90C!

Almost the same result because of bottlenecking from i5 10400. I undervolted it only to gain more efficiency.
