Why would you work from “one” on this, when you have so much to start it off with? As you get to the end, you are having to come up with larger amounts of money PER DAY, so logic would tell you on days when you have more disposable $, use it to fill the higher dollar amount envelopes, so on tougher days, you have smaller ones to fill with smaller amounts. What happens if you get sick and have to miss work, or some other unforeseen issue comes up that does not leave $50 to $100 to put into an envelope? Once you start skipping days, it becomes easier and easier to skip more days…

what is the plastic thingy called that's holding the money? I'm starting this challenge myself. Just discovered it yesterday. I bought a binder off of tiktok. I'm going to use the binder to do the 50 envelope challenge. I'm going to put 5 envelopes in there and write $1275 on it. And after I complete 50 envelopes, I'm going to stuff the money in one of the 5 envelopes with $1275 written on it, and put it away. I'm going to rinse and repeat until all 5 envelopes are filled, then I'll spend 1 of the envelopes, and start the cycle all over again with five new envelopes with $1275 written on them. Fill them all up, and maybe this time I'll spend 2 envelopes and store the rest, Rinse, recycle , repeat, SCALE! Just putting an idea out there. I'm going to invest in a money counter too.

It’s so amazing to see the different ways that people are doing the same challenge. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve done the 100 envie challenge. I now do $50 for 1-50 and $100 for 51-100. It took me a WHILE to get to this point but slow and steady wins the race.
