Very impressive and enjoyable railroad museum tour, the New York Central railroad was a widely popular railway system back in the day and the NYC had many interesting types of steam power. I really enjoyed seeing the footage of NYC locomotive 3001 which is a 4-8-2 Mohawk type, the 3001 is currently being restored back to operating condition by the Fort Wayne railroad historical society and that is interesting news to hear.

I want one of these locomotives so bad. I’ve promised myself my next engine will be a diesel, since I don’t have one yet, but this review made me want to go back on that promise and get this. I love Berkshires. They’re beautiful locomotives.

I wish you the best of luck. For all I know it landed in a mineshaft or in the creek that runs into town. It's made of mostly cardboard and plastic. If it hasn't deteriorated by now, it'll definitely be deteriorated eventually.

17:08 thats L-3b 3042, 3042 was converted into a canteen and was used with Reading T-1 4-8-4 2101 during its 1976 tour with the American Freedom Train, as well as with the Chessie System Special. It was later damaged in a roundhouse fire in 1979. This water tender is now placed behind 3001

The tender at the NYC RR museum in Elkhart is neither a T-1 or an L&N tender. It's a former NYC tender that was originally behind a Mohawk. Ross Rowland used that for 2101 for the AFT and the Chessie Steam special. After the fire, Rowland donated it to Elkhart after acquiring a former L&N tender for use behind C&O 614.

@@FutureRailProductions He’s always talking about the NYC and the Hudsons. Speaking of which, I think the last tender from a Hudson (either the NYC or the Boston & Albany railroad which I no longer remember now) which is converted to a water heater (or was it an aux tender?) and it might be located at Steamtown USA, but I could be wrong on that one.

I'm just gonna pretend that Gordon & Percy were sad 49% of this episode, but happy 51% of this episode when Thomas was telling the story too. I'm also just gonna pretend Henry was happy 88% of this episode, but cross 12% of this episode when Thomas was telling this story.
