Hey there and thank you! - Our customers in shop have had nothing but positives to say about it. Its pretty typical for any Chavez knife and doesnt deviate from their standard formula too much

Grind to 0 isn't realistic no great geometry for a heavy use knife. Also several traditional Puukko designs have a finger groove or choil before the blade.

@Northernknives I use many Lauren metalli 80crv2 at a zero for hard batoning with non-issue. For instance Terava knives. Just need well heat treated steel.

This was made to spec for a gentleman who's expertise we respect. From a survival standpoint, we tried (with his direct input) to make a knife that worked perfect for him, his training school and other Berets he works with.

Meh, I won't give Tony $500 for a knife that's worth $200. I'd rather buy ten Glykon clones and have them serve me for the rest of my life. Sure, you get the premium steel but I've had a few clones that felt and performed better than the original thing. The problem with American knife makers is that they're trying to rob Americans by raising their prices way above what they should be. This goes especially for Microtech, Spyderco and Benchmade but others as well. Bring on those clones China! 😂

@@Northernknives differential hardening is goated. As a knife maker myself, and a professional knifesmith for just short of a decade, that’s a wonderful piece of cutlery. Take good care of it, don’t put it in the dishwasher, and put olive oil on the carbon steel blade after use. It prevents oxidation. Congrats!
