I would love to see bad cyclists charged. Mostly i would love to see those in cars charged while on their phone. I live in the U.S. and I have never seen anyone charged for being on their phone. I see it all the time. Mostly women. GET OFF YOUR DAMNED PHONE WHILE DRIVING

Definitely agree always claim through insurance. I had to keep chasing up the other driver when we made a mutual agreement to sort things out without involving insurance, it was annoying but it finally got sorted. I won't be doing that again!!

Undertaking a Bus at a pinch point what could possibly go wrong. Also don't cite the theory test like that means anything in the real world on paper we are all perfect and all know how to answer basic questions. How you react is a completely different part. If something big is coming your way you're turning left no matter who you are or what vehicle you're in. don't undertake Large vehicles especially at pinch points.

Yeah please don't be there it makes us Bus drivers really nervous when you cycle right alongside us and you can disappear from our mirrors in a flash, all it takes is for the driver for one moment to forget you were there not see you in the mirror and then proceed to squeeze you out the way. I've seen cyclists disappear before my eyes blindspots are a thing and that signage on the side is there for good reason.

A lot of ‘why’s’ being asked here and in video..isn’t it obvious - drivers personality, temperament, arrogance. Cyclist was in the way (he wasn’t) but she didn’t like it and took aggressive action because she was safe inside and big metal box - it’s the way of the world - it’ll never change however many law changes there are. from both a cyclist and bus operators point of view you could have been closer to the lane edge to give the bus plenty of room to get past the bus has to stop in the bus stop he was not tailgating you and used his Horn to warn you of his presence if anything you antagonised the situation

It’s time police crack down hard on RLJ, too many cyclists think they can do what they like, never think how much it will effect some poor driver that will one day hit them due to them jumping reds, also placing other cyclists in danger as it annoys some drivers so much they stop respecting cyclists that are following the rules

Ha ha. Watching this now all these years later, this driver is called Gary. I remember him. This video was mentioned in CPC training at the time. The driver was spoken to about this I'm sure. I left the buses in 2015.

As a bus driver myself I can hand on heart say that this driver is an utter disgrace. With this is mind why didn't the cyclist take the same route as you did? As I've said it is 100% the bus drivers fault but on the majority of buses these days there are stickers aimed at cyclists telling them not to pass down the left hand side of the vehicle. Seems to me that this bus driver had very poor observations and mirror checks (again this is coming from myself as a bus driver). Definitely a very close call and it highlights the risks to both drivers and cyclists...I for one always check my mirrors before making any change of speed, direction etc

Ridiculous!! That car was miles away from you, even if he did "creep". He should have bounced that motor on its rev limiter continuously while you were trying to converse about some bollocks about being too close. Rather stay off the roads completely if you're going to be that sensitive with a tight nipped anus.

When you have no reg plate at the back -you can do this -hit a cyclist in a car jumping the red light -you'll never hear the last if it-ohnwoe is me ! Make them display an I.D and pay insurance to ride the road - they will disappear like ghosts ! It's not fair on the motorist !
