I'm 60 and I'm still a pistols fan, brilliant song writing and the music to match....sid was iconic!

John’s straining at the top of his range on “No Feeling” gives us the beginnings of his PIL approach.

Haha I knew before listening that John would be telling sound to turn Steve down. That was great, sound was amazing considering how it was recorded. Thanks for posting.

Ironically as much as Rotten is hating how it sounds, they sound their absolute best in this sound check in my opinion even with Sid on base.

i heard from a highly credible source that the guitar, bass and drums here are actually the roadies playing.

In The Filth And Fury documentary John said they weren't allowed to have a soundcheck for this gig. Memory off maybe?

Perhaps he forgot because it was their final show on the tour. Or maybe it was the fight he had with Sid backstage after the concert that caused a bit of amnesia ;)

Sid met the disgnostic criteria for severe mental retardation. It's a wonder he could even hold a bass.

What's really weird - when they start playing Belsen at 4:31, Steve begins to play in G flat key - and Sid in A flat... So, they stop - and then Steve and John both adapt to Sid and go through the song in A flat. But, later on, at the concert, they played it - correctly - in G flat

Steve Jones was full of it back then,,,he could play, he was much better than he let on. Plus he got that great tone...

this is the evidence of the fact that sid vicious was realy playing the bass and was not scollegated from the amplificator. at 4.41 he understanded that the bass wos non accordated with the guitar and check it with steve jones...

Wow! Richard Gossett, I can remember listening to (KSAN) you when I moved from Florida to San Mateo county back in November, 1976! I can still remember listening to you one night when you played Journey's new song NEXT circa March, 1977! Whatever happen to KCBS FM after that time period? Steve & the music? I enjoyed this great video with all you guys from KSAN! Take care & thanks!
