It's wild that this interview was before the albums Nanobots, Glean, Phone Power, I Like Fun, My Murdered Remains, The Escape Team, and Book.

In appreciation of the Interviewer's shirt, I feel like the Venn diagram between fans of TMGB and fans of Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog has close to 100% overlap.

Darn it! I missed out completely on being in the audience of this author's book reading 😟. I lived in Iowa City at this time, 2015, and very easily could have gone to the bookstore and sat in audience.

John is/was my Uncle. His way with peaceful words will live on forever! I found these videos today & I will be forever greatful. I also became a writer & had some epic conversations with him as did my Mom Brigitte. Still inspired by nature & his words! Great video.

Interesting discussion. I believe this work is an important addition to the historical record. Also, I listened to some of the songs on youtube and the music is beautiful.

I'm trying to contact Joe Sharpnack. I am the brother of a roommate of his sister way back in 1975 or so. I'm trying to contact his sister for nostalgia sake. How do I contact Joe?

I would like your permission to repost this on my channel. I'd make sure to include the proper credits. I would also like to add a limiter on the video in order to bring up the volume level. Would that be ok?

After my grandfather died, I began working on my first oil painting. I kept playing a few of your songs over and over as I painted. They were like the soundtrack to my work and thoughts. I lost that CD on a roadtrip somewhere and so wish I had it. Glad to find your music here! Where are you now?

I'm a bit late with this comment, but in Craig's senior year, the Hawkeyes played Purdue at home. Craig was playing both ways, meaning he remained on the field when the defense left the field. That was pretty rare back in the '70s to see a player playing both offense and defense. But Craig was pretty rare. Anyway, on a drop back pass, Craig stayed in the pocket to block, and huge Dave Butz, at 6'8", 300lbs., Purdue's All-American interior defensive lineman broke through the line. I'll never forget what happened: Craig stepped right up to him as Butz was going to try to run right over him toward the quarterback and delivered what must have been a painful forearm shiver up underneath Butz's face mask to his jaw, that buckled Butz to his knees. I've never seen anything quite like that before or since. Craig was such a superb, admirable, and super-confident. I'm so happy to see that Craig's social conscience off the field has remained as unwavering as he was on it.
