omg. this makes my head hurt. so many games, sort of rescued, but not being played and loved. zero percent chance I will ever be in Utah, but I still hope to see what you guys do with all of these games. So many rare games in there! hope that thumbs up and subscribing will keep me in the loop of what happens with this massive early 80's chance to feel it all again, but obviously not me as Utah is not anywhere that I can get to.

To be fair, the title says RETRO. Although it technically qualifies as vintage (thus, much better than "retro") Most people subscribe to the idea that "retro" qualifies as something made to look like a vintage item and Vintage is truly an item from the past.

Believe me i understand that, I grew up in the arcade era and i consider them as ""The Real Arcade Games'' From roughly 1978 to around 91 or 92 but mainly from 80 to 85. The reson i put in the title as Retro Arcade Games is for more people to find my videos... More people understand what '''Retro Arcade Games'' are. 😬

When I was under the car i did notice that the exhaust didnt seem stock, whoever did the exhaust on this did an incredible job!!! And yes i am missing the Rad cover, i may hit you up on that.

Thank You, I spent a few years looking for the right GTO I wanted to buy, I was patient and this one just happen to pop up and when i went to see it, I knew it was the one i was looking for... 👍 Its interesting some of the reactions you get from people that really know what this car is....Not many people do know but the ones that do.....They usually go nuts!!! lol

And to those curious as to why the screen is warped, thats because the cabinet uses a Fresnel lens to make everything look bigger.

Yes, We got the game in more or less two halves and cut wires here and there, when we went through the process of putting it back together we also took that huge lense out of the game and cleaned it with a soft towel and light Windex. Came out shining!! Also took that 25 inch monitor on top out and cleaned it as well.

Yes, around 300 of the games came from Grinkers Gand Palace, Arcade and pinballs.

Yes I work for JCI, Also the black inserts in the hood were already painted when i bought the car. I like the way it looks but whoever did it didn't prep it well before paint. I think i will eventually re paint them.

@@ThunderFist1978 - Unfortunately, arcade owners used throw arcade cabinets in the dumpster when they stopped earning money, or when they needed to make room for new cabinets. So not a lot of old cabinets exist anymore.

@TheBigExclusive and quite often, they become candidates for conversions, which were very common for these dual cabinets. A good example was a Cyberball cabinet that got converted to a Numan Athletics with two players per side.

Well you can have up to 2 players per screen: A pilot and co-pilot on each side, pretty unique game and fairly rare. We waited a long time to finally acquire this game from a collector that had many rare games.

Heh....Its an hour and 15 minute drive from our Hanger to Flynn's. In a lot of cases we dont know exactly what is wrong with the machines until we get there. Cant take everything with us. In most cases we fix the game, or we run into unforeseen problems that we need parts or other things we dont have with us. Cant just go to the frogger store and buy parts right then.....

Was waiting for the right one to pop up, private party, was looking at the 04's at first they were cheaper, but this one finally popped up locally and an 06 with low mileage and very well taken care of... So i was patient and in no hurry and this one fell in my lap...

Well.....This collection is a culmination between 3 of us. I have been collecting games since around 1998, my Cousin started a few years after that and the other person has been doing this as well for a long time. About 300 of the games came from an arcade that had to close due to the "Scamdemic"(Cov!d). Another bulk buy came from a collector that wanted to get mostly out of the hobby. Some came from online auctions, some were found locally. Just the usual hunting for arcade games and pinballs. :)

Selling mine 20k firm. 04 40k miles, every possible upgrade you can think of has been done and done right, built by ryan cunningham and tuned by him. 25k in upgrades alone. Only thing missing is forced induction, but it has every upgrade to just bolt it up. I smile at facebook market cause I haven't seen one even close to how good mine is. I am the second owner been garage keeped the entire time. Have a Bible of every thing that has been done to it. 437rwhp 398 torque. I drive it once a week at most and put about 8miles on it when I do take it out. Sadly I bought it thinking I would drive it everyday but it's so prestine I'm afraid of parking it in public. I want the car to go to someone who knows gtos so they can appreciate what's been done to the car. If your serious message me. Again 20k firm no negotiating. There are videos of the car on KZbin from the first owner.
