Still a marvelous voice! Alright, so the quality of the recording isn't great, but that's no reason to pass it over without a single comment. Burdon means what he sings... So where is everybody?

Apologies for the jerkiness at times, but it's the downside of these lawn concerts: some numb-nuts can't seem to keep still & kept bumping me and/or obliviously blocking my view!

I saw these guys in NOLA a year ago, and they are a great live act. Excellent players, and a lot of fun. Be sure to check them out if you're there. They can often be seen in one of the clubs on Frenchmen St. just outside the French Quarter. It will be a guaranteed good time.

Waylon's music is freakin' hot. Gotta get to New Orleans again someday where I can hear him live. His music smokes. Randy McDaniels, TLC.

In this day of over-sexed & over sold pop, Ms Shaw is a breath of fresh air. A truly stunning talent & naturally charming performer, young musicians like her give me hope for music's future. I would like to see Ms Shaw tour with another bunch of talented good southern girls, the triplet band Red Roots. Now that would be some serious red headed good girl energy!

I saw her do a song on television when she was much younger than this and have never forgotten it, the song was about a little grey cat, a little boy and a little girl laughing, and a little dog outside saying "bow wow, let me in", then laying down the best music ever, this song was written and performed when she was a little girl herself with so much talent and charm pouring out of her, and it still does, it would make hurricane "Katrina" look like a kiddie pool.
