Everything is very ugly, dirty and chaotic. Nena nice and beautiful here.

Very unlikely that anyone knows the where the geographic Eden is. Not even the oldest human remains will be sufficient to help us locate it. How about searching the least talked about remote places of our planet? But thank you for the hope. We might not be very wrong to say Eden was somewhere within modern day Arab/Islamic world.

Hi Kevin, thanks for getting back to me. Hardly anyone does. I didn’t think I’d be treated to a history lesson! But I’m grateful to you for the etymology. I’m glad I’m forgiven. - I value that quality as I know Jesus has forgiven me for much deeper things than mispronunciation! Good to chat with you. Jeremy

Nice little video of a part of the world I know very well. Hawes has become something of a tourist trap since I first went there in the 70's, and I prefer the quieter places these days. I can highly recommend seeing Mill Gill Force waterfall near Askrigg, especially after a bit of rainfall - it's hardly known but one of the most spectacular waterfalls in The Dales, with a drop of around 70 feet. Incidentally, pronouncing "Ure" as "yoor" gives you away as a tourist. It's locally (and properly) pronounced "Yor".

Thanks for your comments. As a mere “foreigner “ (southerner),though I now live in Yorkshire, I’m not up in the Dales pronunciations. So my humble apologies for getting Ure wrong! It is a beautiful part of the country. We only had two dry days in June though!

@@JeremyThornton1 As you're a southerner I think we can forgive your lack of local knowledge. 😉 Personally, I blame received pronunciation for the Ure/Yor mismatch, Yor being the viking name for the river, hence Jorvik - "The town on the Yor" (before someone renamed it the Ouse at York) and I reckon that the viking name predates any other name we know of so it has to be the right one ! 😊 And indeed, Dales weather can catch you out at times, though even when wet the climate is still usually quite temperate. My wife & I have holidayed in the Dales in October, and apart from needing hats & gloves it's still been rather enjoyable.

Hi Chris, I used to work with you in York . On the off chance that you read this I'd like to have a catch up sometime . I'm in the National Trust & if I'd have known you had a studio in Rother Valley I'd have popped in to see you . I still live in York.

💕It’s good that my Dad left Yemen for Russia, and here all such people are welcomed well and do not interfere with work. Dad opened his fish shop and Kazinaki, now I can live in peace in Russia and admire Yemen with gratitude to my Dad for why he didn’t have a compass when he was forced to leave his homeland and he was brought to the USSR on a ship a long t ago!
