Lol, fast forward to 2024 the film/TV business is in a full blown depression

What pigments did you use for the black light paintings? I want to render laser-tag inspired scenes in 3D rendering software like Blender, and I’m trying to figure out what pigments are commonly used for blacklight murals so I can use the exact emission-spectrum data for those pigments to make it as accurate as possible.

Very cool, but I would still like to know what the price tag on that was.

What do you use for the “hard coating”?

Great work! What material do you use for the hard coating? Only one coat is enough?

Can they be weatherproofed for use outside? What coating would need to be used?
@wearecreativeworks4 ай бұрын
Great Question! Yes, our props can be treated for weatherproofing. As a matter of fact, the Octopus from this episode is proudly displayed outside our office in Indianapolis! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmTXmJ5tl5d0gas Contact us -> wearecreativeworks.com/request-a-quote/

I really enjoyed Amusement 360. UnfortunatelyI have only been able to attend by ZOOM. I have a full time job and taking vacation time when you have 360 does not work for me. Wish I could get the recordings or some of the literature that was available. Struggling to pull my plan together.

what kind of foam did you use? does it come as cylinders?

Great question, Sophia! We have our foam shipped in as large blocks and then mill those blocks on our CNC machine to whatever size and shape our artist needs!

I'd like to see utilization of a mic. So many times do the guests not follow or hear the rules. Or struggle with putting a vest on. And because it's so loud with excitement the shariffs or attendants can't be heard. A mic can help them project their voice.

Hey, what did you guys use to seal the foam? I have a project I’m working on where i’m Doing a totem pole out of foam but it’s going outside
@wearecreativeworks2 жыл бұрын
That sounds EXCITING!!!! Great question as well! Once we have sculpted the foam to our prop's design, we apply a commercial grade hard coat layer to seal it. In your case, you'll want to find a hard coat that will withstand various weather conditions as well as account for if people will be regularly touching it as that will also deteriorate your prop quicker.
