its not bad but if you used other types of wood with more contrast it would look 100 times better
@zigzog5671 Жыл бұрын
did you make it wrong or sth? why there's an extra layer of squares behind pieces.It should be a stripe like the left and right edges. And why it's not light and dark squares. it's just random colors. also a piece should be easily identified looking from both sides. when you look from behind knight and bishop is almost the same other than a stripe. The piece defining differences should be on top becouse in a bit later in game. you dont really see bottom of the pieces for example when a knight infiltrates.
@DeliKWoodworks Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comments. I will consider that kext time. For the board,that was what was available in my shop.As for the pieces, I tried ky best to make it easily distinguishable.Unfortunately,that was the best my ability can do at the moment.
@zigzog5671 Жыл бұрын
@@DeliKWoodworks sir you are very wrong. as i can see from your other woodworks you have the ability to do almost anything you want. It's just a matter of information about what are you making. for example when making a chair just google what makes a chair comfortable, different chair structures and how they hold. just take your time like 3-4 hours to collect information about what you are going to make and im %100 sure you will improve your art a lot in a short time. Use what you made and ask what could've been better.

Putting aside, that this video has bad camera quality and obnoxious music choice, the design is actually cool
@DeliKWoodworks Жыл бұрын
Sorry mate.Did not think I was gonna make a build video.To be fair, the only bad quality is only the part where I was ripping the strips for the board as I just grabbed it from my live video on Facebook.But I shall do better next time. I am sure your videos are awesome.

@@DeliKWoodworks To be fair, you did better than me. I haven't attempted to make a single video on my account.
