Omg measure your area do some simple math and you wont end anywhere with a thin strip. No matter where you start. You dont have to start with a full board width or length. You never start off in open area you must be against a wall with sapcers to install without shifting floor. Use a 2 inch vinyl reducer or t molding for flush slide. When the slide is open it will sit flush and when closed its reducer shape will sit nice. Look into flooring trasintions not just vinly plank transitions. You dont need that chopper. Mark board put a square on it. Score it with a utility knife and snap it. And most importantly great job guys ive been doing flooring for 30 years and you really did do a great job with your rv. They are not easy.

YES, chains last! I have seen so many videos doing it in the wrong order by removing the brake wire and chains before lifting off the ball.

Nice job. I missed this video before I replaced my RV carpeting with vinyl plank, but I managed to muddle along. I really didn't want to totally empty off the slide, so I left that carpeted, but it turned out that taking out the dinette did make it easier to place the main floor beneath. Not exactly easy, but better than paying thousands to have someone else do it. It does make a big difference in a 20 year old Winnebago. Approximately how many vinyl planks did you use in your rv? I have a 35’ with three slides… I want to replace all of the carpet 😅

what was the width of your entrance door please?

I used 1/4” plywood on my bedroom walls. I cut them on my table saw. Saved $$. You can see the natural uneven finish in the boards and some unevenness in the gaps which gave the room a nice rustic feel. I sprayed them to get the paint into the gaps and a more consistent finish.

How much weight did it add after installing that

I put all my wheel chocks in and then put the vehicle in neutral to let it roll into the chocks before I try to unhitch help me a lot, but I still don’t know is whether I should have the parking brake on the tow vehicle on or off?

You are going to probably regret not staggering the seams. Even on a stationary structure, you ALWAYS STAGGER seams. ALWAYS. This "structure" has to endure an earthquake every time you pull it.

Hi Becca! You would laugh if you saw my kitchen. I have oodles of space for small appliances and I totally take advantage of it. My "beverage center" has a Cuisinart Keurig, a standard Cuisinart coffee maker, a Nespresso with a frother and a juicer. See! What can I say? 🤷 I like variety. Plus, it's a huge hang out area in the morning when we have guests over. ☕☕☕☕☕☕ On another counter area I have my bread machine, a Ninja blender and a toaster oven. Opposite of that is a standard toaster and crock pot. The microwave is built into the wall so I guess it doesn't count. We still haven't finished our remodeling project so I told Jimmy that I want a pantry added to the kitchen. I just watched your trampoline/eclipse video. It was cloudy here too. We only got to see a partial eclipse. Take care and God bless!

What did you use for the spacer?

I like your cosy home. Yesterday, I came across a candle warmer. It is a great way to create a lovely scent without having to have a flame needing to be watched in case of fire. It was only $4.50 in original wrapping at the Thrift Store. Will be a great addition to my vintage RV. I love your floor cleaner, especially as it doesn't not involve replacing parts continuously and therefore saves money. Safe travels to you and your family!

I went to SA for the eclipse from Washington and it was cloudy as can be we were able to see some of it but not much. At least there was beautiful Thunderstorms that night.
