Really enjoy seeing what can be done in the Santa Fe area. Are you running the stock tires? can you post the trail/road numbers you are running?

Thanks. They are stock tires. These trails were all located off of Old Buckman Road in Santa Fe. Near Diablo Canyon.

I recently started watching these videos and enjoy them to the point of subscribing to your channel and joining your FB page. I live in Northern NM and have never rode in the El Rito area. Would you mind sharing where this is exactly? Looks awesome with the creek crossings and narrow trails. Thanks and keep up the good work!
@NorthernNMOff-Roaders15 күн бұрын
Hello, thank you for the comment and I appreciate the support for the channel. Please keep a look out on the FB Page for the next group ride. The trails in this video are all near and around El Rito NM. Easiest way to find these trails is to look up the El Rito Campground. Up and down that main forest rd, wherever you decide to park, there are trails. These trails are all off of that main forest rd that the campground is located on. That Road is the 110 so you cant miss it, and if you look on google maps, and look at the river, youll see roads that cross the river to get to some more camps, and those are the trails with the water crossings from this vid. Hope this helps and we look forward to seeing you on the next big ride.

Hey do you have directions to get to this trail or a name of it on like onX is there places to park your truck and trailer? Thank you
@NorthernNMOff-Roaders13 күн бұрын
Not sure the name on Onyx or if it's on there, but this trail is behind the Los Alamos cemetery and where the trail starts, there are some areas to park. Not really a big lot area but up the side of the trail at the begining there is enough room to turn around and park parallel to the trail. If you have a Facebook, follow my riding page and there are some pictures and a map of where we park for this trail. The page is Northern NM Off Roaders.

These trails are off of Old Buckman Road behind Las Campanas in Santa Fe in between the town and the Rio Grande River. Also located all around Diablo Canyon area which is a big hiking and climbing area if that makes it easier to find.

Ah gotcha, there was a comment made after yours from albert saying he's got ya, and I believe that was for you. If not, I can say that we usually ride out in Santa Fe out towards the Rio Grande every weekend usually on Fridays or Saturdays. Look for either an Orange Polaris Scrambler 850, or the Brown CF Moto ZForce 950 Sport 4 out on the trails and flag me down. Ill get you my info and let you know on rides as they are set up.

Come out and ride with us some time. Follow our Facebook page to get the updates on the big rides and occasionally we put up last minute weekend rides. This place is just passed Diablo Canyon on Old Buckman road. That road ends at the Rio Grande and on the road to the river there are many different trails for all skill levels and styles of riding.

We try and set up a Big group ride about once every Two months, but now that summers rolling in, we will be scheduling rides more often. But a few of us ride every weekend. Most of the time we ride in Santa Fe, or in Espanola or out at Southern in Rio Rancho. Follow our page on Facebook to see when the next big ride is and if you wanna go just with a small group on the weekend hit us up on the page when you're free and we will let you know where we are going that weekend. The page is Northern NM Off Roaders.

@2lives1left4 ай бұрын
So very lucky to have a place like that to ride. New York State is NOT nice at all. Thankfully I have 5000 acres I can ride at camp, but that to get's smaller over time. Enjoy! No mud there either, I don't care for the mud. Sportsman XP 1000S is too nice to get all muddy! Just bought the 2023 one. /

Thank You and congrats on your 1000 S, have to say its been a great machine and easiest bike to have fun on due to the huge power and all the features on it. And yes mud is something i try and stay away from as well. Enjoy your bike sir and be safe out on the trails.

I have been looking at the same Scrambler, just curious how you like it. I was shocked to see they don't have eps as an option in the 850 Scrambler.
@NorthernNMOff-Roaders4 ай бұрын
It is an amazing bike. I have a couple other quads, one being the sportsman XP 1000 S, which is fully loaded and I gotta say, the scrambler is a bit more fun. Even without the EPS, the front end is so light, you really don't miss it. Without all the other new tech goodies, it's a lot more sport and aggression oriented and gives me a more fun ride. And for the price, it's truly the best bike I have ridden. I do plan on putting a winch on it and getting a small bag for the rack though. It does lack good storage, but I love the bike so far.
@rzl073754 ай бұрын
@@NorthernNMOff-Roaders Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I was really wondering how it performed without eps. Good to hear it's not to big of a deal. I recently sold my BruteForce 750 which I had a small build on making it a lot of sport combined with utility as well and it was a lot of fun, but it was getting older and miles were adding up. I'd like to replace it with a sporty 4x4 and the Scrambler 850 is kinda no brainer. It did notice the lack of storage on it which is kind of a bummer but overall this seems like it might be the right fit for me as a sporty 4x4.
