I would like to share that this video has been one of the musical constants in my life for the past few years. It has helped soothe me in the darkest moments of my life, and has supercharged my love for life in my best times. This piece is one (albeit one of many) that has aided in pioneering my passion for composition. As you can tell, it is very near and dear to me. I almost panicked one time thinking I couldn’t find it. It’s impact and significance is something I’ve taken for granted. (At this point it is probably in the top ten songs I have had stuck in my head the most.) Seeing my comment three years ago makes me cringe a little. Comparing it to your other works feels minimizing of its individuality, especially with how much the piece means to me. It is so simple and sweet, but accomplishes so much with what it has. Your expressive playing brings that sweetness to life. As I sit in bed writing this at ~3am, I hope knowing that you’ve moved somebody in the world with your creativity brings you a little joy.
