Great video mate. How long did the whole install take?
@brianbochow16 күн бұрын
Thanks for your video guide on fitting the motor mate. Just last week i bought through bcf the exact same 65lb thrust Geo Spot motor plus xtras.So far what you have shown makes great sense and takes the edge off my nerves. Upon reading other peoples trouble shooting answers also helps greatly. So far i have owned a minn kota bowmount which i bought through Johnson Wholesalers in the mid 90,s which gave me all sorts of grief. So much so i sold it and bought a rear transom motor which i bought through B L A which turned out to be a over priced piece of garbage. Then i changed boats bought a motor guide motor bow mount but never used it due to lifes bullshit. Changed boats again and bought a 80lb thrust watersnake transom and was rapped with it and never had a problem with it. Then i sold that set up got into lure making commercially and had no money to invest in another boat. Many yrs later i missed boat fishing so i rectified that situation. I have now fitted out a pure timber bass punt 14.4ft long with a 2.1m beam drawing 4 inches of water. Fitted a 25hp short shaft yamaha. I have just completed fitting a 60litre livewell up forward of the custom centre console. As money is tight got a good deal on sounder technology even though i am now eyeing off the knew Eagle eye 9 forward facing job. I bought the watersnake bow mount motor set up. Lucky these days we have social media platforms that provide excellent advice to "newbies", of our boating sport. I have already been able to educate myself with other peoples problems towards these products with great honest answers. I hope your Geo Spot WaterSnake provides you with many hours of fun to come. Best regards B.J.

More about moon phase and bait being present at kingfisher I find. I also prefer the bigger tides with lots of water movement

Mine was the same. Had it for 3 months now. I opened both side panels. Small moving parts were rusting so I cleaned and sprayed them down with Innox and put marine grease on all moving parts. Deploys and stows so much easier now.

Do yourself a favour and open the remote and fill the button voids with epoxy, it will then feel the same as the buttons on the minn kotas and motorguides.
