I really loved this play. The acting was very good and it was really interesting how the people were seated just a few feet from the stage.

Superb production. I recently saw a production at my local theatre here in Caterham and it was just awful, hammy acting and weak direction with everyone jumping up to say their lines - it was like playing whack-a-mole!. Some People left at half time!!!

I like the choice to stage Eric slightly away from the table - it really effectively shows the discord between him and Mr Birling even before the Inspector arrives

Less than 2:30 minutes in and the husband TAKES OUR LORD’S NAME IN VAIN. How disgusting and UNNECESSARY. Skip this one , folks. How much more depravity and filth lurks within it? Ugh.

Bad acting all around - especially by the lady that played Margo and the guy who played Max. Just because it is a stage play doesn't mean you have to screech and shout! Be more natural. This lousy acting is distracting!!!

I love to watch old movies, and this was one of my favorites. I loved Robert Preston. He could make me laugh. Eve Arden played the pesky aunt. Dorothy McGuire was the mom and Shirley Night played, the girl. It was a touching movie, with a bit of humor, and a ahead of it's time. This play was pretty good, for a small theater. Bravo! 😊👍👍

Absolutely no comparison with the 1934 film. That was adapted by two American women from the English original. **And, that film doesn't have the wooden acting as we see here.

Don't get it. His character was vulnerable at first but then he's making a big joke out of some that are being honest and thoughtful to him. And the jokes take forever to get going. Some funny lines but don't understand Charlies motivation.

The little boy is supposed to be gay so they dance around it by inferring that he's a movie fanatic little sissy who is bullied by other kids. It was an auto-biographical play written by William Inge (who was gay).
