I'm probably reading the film all wrong here, but I got a sense of pulling. Like I felt like my body was being pulled one way or another, playing tug of war with reality and madness, and I had to succumb to one side or the other instead of finding maybe a balance. Each punch that was made seemed to me an attempt to snap out of it, to reject the pull... i don't know but I was fascinated and intrigued. The supernatural always kinda spooked me- thanks horror genre haha- but I've always been fascinated in the unexplained, such as coincidence vs fate. Love the direction of this. It was indeed quite a trip haha.
