Im currently involved with a Chinese woman from Hong Kong who is attempting to scam me in a pig butchering scam. We have been chatting for 3 weeks and she says she loves me and wants to marry me. Im 61 and shes 38 and very beautiful. I know its a scam and im wasting her/ their time and enjoying it. She contacts me several times a day with hearts and kisses and shows me photos with one suspicious video call. I told her im broke but she still insists on continuing with the scam. She said invest 1000 and you will see but i know if i do, i will be able to take it out once or twice so i feel comfortable to invest more until i put a large sum of money in and she will disappear lol

As an Indian, I am gobsmacked how the Australians are forced to skirt around the actual issue and not address the elephant in the room. I see SCAM CENTRES littered around in DELHI, KOLKATTA, MUMBAI, NOIDA, LUDHIANA, and many other Indian cities. We have industrialised scams and it's been the BEST BUSINESS strategy without much investment. Our dialer licenses, internet, Australian customer data, and even Australian numbers to mask actual ID is supported and endorsed by the Indian govt. All for a small cut to the local Indian police and some as campaign funds to the ruling BJP party. Thanks to Modi for supporting Indians doesn't matter the case or crime. 😊 It's Bharat desh time. 🇮🇳 Vande Mataram Har Har MODI.

This is Not a crypto currency crime. There is never crypto purchased by the victim. The crypto platform is a ruse!! The scam is so much less technical

A scam of this type can use any type of currency, whether crypto or otherwise, and the various scam tactics range from low tech and basic, right up to state-of-the-art technical deceptions. The only constant throughout each instance is the presence of a devastated victim.

Is this type of scam also common within Europe? I mean, scammers from or located in Europe.

While this type of scam was first detected in South-East Asia, evidence has since come to light of similar schemes being orchestrated from the Eastern Europe/Western Asia Caucasus state of Georgia and other countries across the world. The victims, however, are targeted on a truly global scale. With the internet being used as the vehicle of scam delivery, it is difficult to predict where the next victim will be.

If some victims told the authorities, can the authorities do a quick investigation, and if found they are scammers, can the authorities ban their APPS or websites in US?

Organ harvesting has been occurred in Myanmar & Cambodia for years that involving with the government of Cambodia and Myanmar,and the China regimes keep an eye blind due to the crime organization had provided benefit to them.most of the criminal came from the mainland of china;few of them were Taiwanese ,Singaporean and Malaysian chinese involved crime activity.
