Need's an MMC with a 6-cylinder engine. They're nippy but I bet they produce some high revs up those hills.

It is Euro 5 after all so it is a bit slow.

@@transportmanchester3299 before I had my licence years ago i used to rude on E400 double deckers with the 6cyl cummins, it was music to my ears, especially since I was commuting to college doing mechanics 🤣 one of the coolest sounding buses Ive been in, other being the Ikarus 250/280 with the Rába D2156HM engine. That too is a 6cylinder, and when I was a kid in Hungary it was a daily sight in both manual and automatic form, so the 6cyl cummins enviros gave me nostalgia everytime i ride with them because it reminded me of the old Ikarus es 😊

First Manchester have sold of many of their depots and buss. Essex is most likely less competitive and can get away with older buses.

They are starting to refurbish voyages, they look nice and much smarter. They are due to start returning pendolino by the start of 2021.

I wish we had them, they do up in Scotland and aberdeen or dundee I think. These are my favourite of the 2nd generation of Enviro's in Greater Manchester, don't rattle, good condition and very nice sapphire interior.

Seats were replaced with seats with seatbelts as it’s a school vehicle it doesn’t matter if they don’t match as 99% of non enthusiast school students won’t care.

Good variety, bad employer. That driver hated working there and the management do not care about their routes or staff. He also said a load of the people from MCT who caused MCT to not be "viable" had went to Diamond. They do not care about the bus being too big and he wasn't very happy. Hopefully he's gone for his job at Go Ahead now.

These are very nice and I personally find the seats wayyyyyy more comfortable then something like an Urban 90. I do like this interior a lot. Never went on YourBus sadly.

It's a nice spot.

I prefer the new interior. It feels more bright and airy then all the older ones. Wooden flooring is also nice to have. I think everyone has been mixed with the rebrand but give it a year or two and we will be used to it.

@@transportmanchester3299 I prefer the old blue and orange interior suits stagecoach more tbh I feel the new brand is somewhat first or RATP GROUP based but Yh we will have to see

@@DanielsUKT I think all operators are trying to make bus travel look better for the "middle class" people. So they want make it luxury. I did prefer the High Back seats on the 16 and 17 plates more than the ADL smart seats.

@@transportmanchester3299 true because most middle class people travel by cars probably why stagecoach introduced gold brand back in 2008 or arriva saphhire in 2013 etc etc but also to make more passengers regardless of social class ride buses
