As we old folks would say back in the day here in the states..You are the Man... I checked the cable as you outlined and the casing was cracked and exposed . I attempted to check for a grounding challenge by inserting a long screw driver on to the cable but I immediately got some sparks. after the fire works I figured I blew a fuse and attempted to start the car. It started flawlessy and to my amazement the dash board volt meter went from 12.5 volks to 14.volts and the battery was charging. Next stop is my favorite mechanic shop for a final repair.. Thank you for your video it saved me from purchasing a new alternator.

Subaru FUCKED UP in 1998 they should have dumped the weak problematic h4 and stuck with the amazing h6 ..it's truly an amazing engine ....sounds fantastic..drives so nice ...no doubt as usual I will get trolled by ej fanboys I'm used to it but I worked at a suby dealership and I was a custom fabricator of performance cars for 6 years before that and I've been a mechanic for 12 years now I did AA roadside breakdown contractor for 5 years the ej truly are a crap engine ...there even more unreliable than a rotary without the performance ..don't get me wrong they go ok but I killed 6 engines in 4 years and 2 I rebuilt myself and in that time my gtr Mazda with a dohc Fe engine has NEVER thrown a bearing ..I even did a LOT of towing and that "down low tourqe" ppl talk about is bollocks .....

love the h6 ive done a few conversions and ez engine is only 40mm longer and weight distribution stays the same its totally un-noticable but you get zero lag
