It’s a script on Windows that allows you to natively run vst 3 not the same for Mac though either hope they have AU version or use Element bye Kushview that’s why I prefer making beats on my Windows machine I got everything working in Mpc Beats Software like any other Daw and I mix and record on my Mac

I don’t like using it in controller mode because I feel like it doesn’t play as loudly as I’d like in my DAW. I also noticed that when I play a button like play or stop or any other button, it’ll play a sound, like if I’m using a piano VST, it’ll play that sound. I think that’s weird but I don’t know how to change that.

What i did like about maschine was being able to have a one shot sample and put it in keyboard mode and it would pitch up the keys and keep pitch without speeding up the sample as you go up and down the key registers..maybe it can be done on the mpc and im just wrong.i still have maschine mk2 controller but the usb connection went bad so i stopped using it and got the key61 cause i always want a ASR10 keyboard sampler or a mpc and the key61 was the best of both worlds

Crazy how people take gear or daws so personal if someone changes us of a particular tool like they personally made the daw or groovebox lol ...i remember you using the maschine studio years ago..i always wanted a mpc but i got maschine mk2 cause i couldn't afford the mpc or the mpc ren controller at the time ..anyone that thinks you don't know about maschine is crazy lol

I swear by the akai mpk261 midi controller just a great great controller i wish my key61 was just plugin play like that ..but your right if you wanna go hardware you got the freedom to do so

I noticed you said you can't use VST3 plugins in controller mode. That's why I love having a Mac computer. VST3 plugins come in AudioUnit format and they do work in the MPC Software in Controller Mode. I don't think I want a windows computer ever again.

Yeah that sounds like a great advantage on mac, some plugins are forcing me to work in FL studio because of this limitation in MPC. I hope they fix this in 3.

@dilliot2k You can use Kushview Elements to open vst3 plugins on the mpc. Super easy to set up.

As someone who owns both not all plugins have AU support and everything don’t run on Apple Silicone if using Windows Google Mpc software vst3 a Reddit post should pop up download and follow instructions and all or most your vst3 should work on Windows

Yea I bet but you have been doin this so long for the most part I think people know you can literally make anything and are not boxed into any one genre so your free to go in any direction you want..I'm a ole skool r&b hiphop dude myself 80s 90s so that's the stuff I tend to make but you got a big audience even younger kats so that's probably why the newer hiphop stuff is watched and plus your showing newer younger audience how to approach making newer style hip hop even tho it is watered down and below your skill level lol but keep pushing man u got a big audience enjoy your day..kev!
