Just to say, I am going to buy. And yes the price has not gone down. Life in the fast lane.

Yes! Was looking for flagship synth, but was always drawn to the Integra. Got one last year on Black Friday for 1180€. I don’t get the dated sound reference when these sounds are still used. Nobody calls a Moog or a Prophet dated. The Integra is also a capable synth. I wish it got more love from Roland because it’s incredible and I use it everyday in my electronic dance music productions.

I saw the video on his page. People were saying that he didn't address the flaws in the device. That really bothered me because in the beginning of the video, he literally said that he hasn't even seen an MPC since he made the 3000. If you look at the difference between the 3000 and the X. The X does so many things that the none of the Roger Linn models, or any of the other MPCs from before the Renaissance for that matter, could do. They have to see the forest from the trees. That's like the gentleman who invented the first analog multi track tape machine seeing Pro Tools for the first time. You think he's gonna bring up a subscription license vs perpetual??

This was a very enlightening review of Roger Linn I couldn’t agree more. I’m from the old school but I give big props to those like yourself that keep it moving in the positive. Much love and admiration to you. I’ll see you on the Dillo live cook ups. Again you inspired me to pickup the MPC Keys this year. Akai should send you a free MPC IJS. Enjoy your content. Keep it up.

Bro how you like that Faderport 16?
@matthewgaines104 күн бұрын
The whole converter, old MPC sounds better debate flew over my head because I don’t own an old MPC. It’s irrelevant to me. What I’m using today is what matters. Make what works for you work. Linn is a master contributor to music creation and much respect. I suspect he’s been made whole behind the scenes.

Exactly. We are losing creativity now you got software that plays chords for you. How are you supposed to become a better musician and producer. Music comes from the heart.

I just bought the MPC One Plus and I'm considering grabbing the Fantom 06. Not 100% sure I'll need it. Putting together a Dawless setup and I'll need a workstation type of keyboard for that. This seems like the perfect fit as opposed to a Korg.

Try a Roland product. My Juno-DS has all of the same exact sounds as my 20 year old Roland keyboard. Roland hasn't done ANY improvement to there sounds in 20 years. They just keep regurgitating the same old crappy sounds. This is why I just bought a MODX6+.

Choose a central genre to create a cohesive sound and then break it up with genre switches. Example (16 tracks): 1-3 (central genre) 4 (genre switch) 5-7 (central genre) 8 (genre switch)…etc

Antares is taking dollars out of their own pocket by making their website look as if you have to subscribe in order to purchase anything. That subscription page blasts you in the face as soon as you hit their site. I actually had to show someone how to get past that initial screen so that they could purchase Auto-Tune without a subscription. They’re so desperate for subs they’re basically doing deceptive marketing against themselves. 😂

Do you know which workststion, the mpc 61 key or the roland fantom 06, has the advantage in mixing and mastering. I'm trying to go dawless and need to determine which one has the best mixing and mastering effects and can provide a professionally mixed and mastered song just using the hardware only without the need to transfer songs to a computer and use a DAW for mixing and mastering.

Does it have some of the same sounds as the Fantom X6, patches like "Hero's Theme" for example? I was thinking about buying the 06 this week. I played around with it (for a short time) at Guitar Center once.

I got mine about 6 months ago. I've been a Korg guy for years (Kronos, Krome, SV1, and a King Kong) but I was intrigued by what I could find in this module. I'm definitely having fun with it.
