Method still working great!!! Playing on ps4 hunt was evening. On my second try i found the hare. Literally did not wait 15 seconds. Black bears are also in the area but do not try to kill those or it will spook the hare.

Thanks alot for showing me this! i watched thunder the hunters tutorial on where to find jackrabbit hares and rabbits, because rabbts and hares were the last animals i needed. The only problem was i couldnt fin any Jackrabbit Hares in the locatipon that he showed them in. And when i watched your video it took me only 2 tries to finally complete my collection.

I think it got patched. Tried it and never see any but definitely a good black bear spot. Thunder the hunters spot is better. Found 3 there in one go.

I just got it one the Xbox 1 version after 4 min of waiting while in prone position so I don't think it's patched. mayber yours came up behind you instead of front of you. try again if you haven't got it I'm sure you'll get it after a few tries

Dude rabbit hunting IRL is easier than in this game. I shot one on pawnee meadows and it had to have leaked 30 gallons of blood around the map. They need to patch this and just make it bleed out totally after so long and put a flush/chase command w/ the beagle to run them near you.

Im going out in the morning and doing exactly how you showed, using the scent block and everything. Must have tried 20 times and still no rabbit ever shows up. Im so frustrated. I need a jack rabbit and european bunny matures to have a complete collection of all mature animals.

Idea: do a cougar hunting tutorial they pay a lot and are common in Pawnee meadows just fast travel to each tent and look around after about 1 or two minutes you will usually find 1
