The participants in this video (taken from Goethe Institute’s own online prep material) represent different levels of proficiency in order to illustrate the grading system: You can get 2,1 or 0 points both for completion of the task and for pronunciation. The criteria are very specific and the participants in this video fit different score categories. I tried to find the explanation for who gets which score in this group and why, but didn’t (read it a while ago in a teacher’s manual, sorry). I salute Wesley: his part is to inspire viewers to learn from his mistakes and work towards improving their score. Sad that this video has been posted without the link to the explanation.

I find it so stupid that she is talking to them in German, there's no way they're understanding: "Da kommt ja eine Karte mit einem Bild. Auf der Karte ist auch ein Ausrufezeichen oder ein Fragezeichen. Ihr macht eine Bitte oder eine Frage." No fucking way!! These people need to be taught German using PORTUGUESE. Someone please call Michael Schmidt. >.<

Vanessa R I’m sitting it this Saturday. Definitely the schreiben part is the most difficult, I have been probably over preparing but as long as I pass I don’t mind. Perfectionist here also.

It was easy I have to say I learnt through youtube. There are videos of all the vocabulary used in A1 The practice material on the Göthe website is super helpful, the exam is same format but obviously different vocabulary All the best
