Beautiful coloured trout there. I think the swimming snake must have been a grass snake as they do swim.

there are many marks on the scottish west coast where the pollack are always around 2lb-4lb, way bigger than you're getting here, or if you like a 3 day adventure go to skye where you could connect with one 8lb plus! i was on the west coast last week and had 14 in 5 hours with the smallest at 2lb up to 4.75lb and they fight great, i had 14 but it could've easily been high 20's, one skye 6 wks ago i lost a salmon off niest point

The key to fishing is having lots of patience, using the correct bait & trusting your intuition, with where to cast your line! You'll get something in your net eventually, even if it is a bottom feeder

I keep reptiles and I live in Scotland so I know a little bit about Scottish reptiles although I’m by no means an expert. Was that a red baby snake? As far as I know there are no snakes in the uk that are bright red. Some adders will be reddish but that seemed like it was bright red. I’m stumped. Unless it was a snake that escaped captivity.

Not sure if it’s related to dace or not but that should be what we call nigoi in Japan. Japanese barbel. Not sure why that port would have them as they can’t tolerate anything more than 0.2% salinity.
@japanesefishingadventuresАй бұрын
It’s an ugui a japanese dace not a nigoi, albeit they look similar but the ugui is not as long and they can live in both fresh and salt, often chill in the brackish waters of estuaries too! 😄
@azraelairsoftАй бұрын
@@japanesefishingadventures ah you’re right. Didn’t see red markings and it was brief so I thought it looked like a nigoi. But yeah if you’re catching them in the sea then it’s most like an ugui.
@azraelairsoftАй бұрын
This must be somewhere in northern Japan as a lot of the tackle is made for norther fish like trouts and salmons.
@japanesefishingadventuresАй бұрын
Thanks for your rant in a previous comment! As I say in the video it’s a home store, and yes this is northern Hokkaido, larger DCM’s have great lure selections 👍🏻 thanks for your contribution.
