I only don't like how they give him too much muscles. Compare to all his appearance in games (especially in SMTV) it's not even close to how buff the figure is

@@Eifcia i mentioned a few times in the review, his proportions are just weird, usually in SMT3 he's a bit more slender and you can see some of the definition of his muscles and in SMT V he's kinda somewhere in between. But they gave this dude long ass arms, thick legs and kinda small torso. He still looks good enough but it just looks kinda off but the face and paint job make up for it imo. But it's not like Raidou where I felt they nailed his proportions and likeness a lot better in comparison.

This figure is very articulated and seems to be quite well-made. Sometimes I feel like buying it, but I'm not sure if a hentai figure would fit well in my collection, hahaha.

Really awesome model kit and I can confidently say the 🍆 part is the selling point! Hope to see other reviews of Dark Adwent series, especially the Egyptian one because I really like how it's look (and I'm a little disappointed hearing the connection problem with this model kit 😔)

They're playable in arcade mode but use Nightmare's ending and final boss battle against Raphael And aren't available to use in weapon master mode unfortunately, hopefully they can add that in

It's weird why they use different methods of articulation. The "understandable" choices are the visible ones and the only reason I can think of is about the outfit. Maybe in Arcueid's case the stomach was more aesthetically pleasing then any options.

With model kits it is possible to spray paint the parts to look more like a gold, but at the same time why can they just do it?

I think at the very least the Gold parts should be either painted or just done for you because the bare plastic always looks kinda bad lmao Everything else tends to look fine enough There's also certain parts on Villkiss that are supposed to be gold like the sword hilt and part of the neck but they just left it as is lmao Kind of a pet peeve

Someone is really hype here! 😄 In regards to preorder bonuses exclusive to stores. It sucks a bit, but there's nothing we can do about it. But in good smile (I think it's the only situation like this) the 15th Anniversary Ver. Miku nendoroid, you could get the preorder bonus in any online store and not just in there store.

I should've mentioned in the video but I'd recommend using a proxy service like Neokyo, Buyee etc and see if you can do an order request Usually it helps save on cost but you know still gotta spend money on shipping later on lol I could make a video on how to buy stuff from proxy for sites that aren't easily accessible in the west

I only own Sophia relax ver. and it was fun to build her. However, the one issue I have with this model kit is water stickers, but more specifically the rest of her face plates are blank eyes (it was weird to see that, but there could be said that it give you a choice which eyes part to apply). Applying the water stickers to the pieces was the pain, I would rather prefer the regular stickers. Right now, one eye has fallen on the face plate (luckily, it was inside my parts container so it's not lost, but I don't want play with water again)

I absolutely hate water slide decals with a passion, I'd rather deal with regular stickers, which I also don't honestly like but still better I'd prefer if they just put some of the details on the actual kit at the very least. Like we already have to build it ourselves so throw us a bone lol

The fact that some of these izuna drops look even deadlier in DOA (especially 6:37 , 9:47 10:29 , 16:28 , 18:43 , 19:24 , 19:44 , 19:58 , 21:06 YES I WATCHED THE WHOLE VIDEO) than in most of mainline games means Ryu can literally anihilate all of the competitiom if he was a different person with different motives. In the mainline games a izuna drop means most of the time a guaranteed kill to normal enemies, and can deal many damage to bosses (in most of games u cant even do izuna drops that high up THAT IM AWARE OF!, only some exceptions in NG 2, none in NG and i dunno abt NG 3) None of the contestants are match for him, Ryu has literally killed entities of destruction and saved the world on 2 different occasions, he can easily kill them all! But he wont, because 1.- he just doesnt want to, 2.- most of the time hes on a mission and 3.- he just wants to have fun.

Thank you for making this review. Question: is the paint rub as bad as it is on the Sentinel Super Sonico figure?

Well for Sonico the paint rub was a result of me needing to fix the leg joints so the crotch piece rubbed up against the back, so idk if that would happen normally from just handling it As for Sakura I haven't had any major paint rub and it only seems to happen in the leg or crotch area, I know in the video the crotch had paint rub and I don't remember if it was already there I know for the legs it happened as I was handling it, and it's really annoying, especially when the right leg on my figure is kinda loose So TLDR it doesn't seem as bad but I'd say be careful with any of these due to the price and the fact that authentic ones are a bit hard to come by

And Sakura is $240 with the additional accessories. 🤔 Random question but which figure do you think is better overall: the Buzzmod 2b or the SH Figuarts 2b?

@@chimichangatakeout3551 yeah the prices in the western market are ridiculous for these things, in Japan they're a bit cheaper like less than $200 for the figure and accessories if you can find them As for the 2B figures, I'm not sure actually because I don't have either of them but from what I've seen, the Figuarts is potentially better but has an awful crotch design, a flat ass (on 2B? Impossible!) and the skirt isn't removable On the buzzmod I think the articulation might not be as good but I know it has a cloth skirt and the accessories and faces are different I'm actually planning to compare both of these figures and the bring Arts 2.0 2B figures I just don't have any of them ATM and it'd take time for me to eventually get to this But I'll probably try and get to it quicker since you suggested it lol

I understand that losing leg movement is bad, but Mio's huge ass is a core part of her design, much like the cat ears and core crystal it ties her to Nia. It's not a xenoblade catgirl if she dosen't have a huge ass.

Great video as always! With long hair figures it's inevitable to not look odd ( in Mio's case is better solution to try cover the joints ). I was wondering what if they use flexible plastic on hairs like with skirts, but on second thought maybe is a bad idea. I really want to see a dedicated video about Dark Advent model kits now that you mention. Also 31:55 THE LIE!

The orbs on his head have always been metal in both the manga and anime and have never been transparent. His eye are always a light shade of pink when the host is conscious but if the host gets injured and is no longer conscuous the Guyver goes into defense mode and tkaes over to protect the host and thats when the eyes turn RED.

I really appreciate the comment man. I guess I misinterpreted the metal orbs being shiny for being potentially transparent. So far I've only seen the original 80s OVAs. But I plan to read the manga at some point. As for the eyes, I guess i never paid attention to that detail, so I really appreciate you pointing this stuff out. Thanks a ton

Thanks! If I find a time, I will check out the series! And on topic of figure prices, quite often I see figma/nendoroid having a lot less accessories then before and charge the same or more. It kinda bothers me! Especial when they release accessorie pack for a half price (a bit high price) of original figure.

Not sure if you've gotten the chance to mess around with the figure more, but the reason the neck looks long is because you haven't pushed down on the head enough. I did see you try, but it didn't seem like you were able to budge the ball joint that connects to the back of the head. It might be stiff out of the box so you need to loosen that up. It's also why the heas wasn't tilting as much. Once that ball joint connection is looser, you should be able to push down on the head and compress the neck.
