I'm saying that Greek scholars differ in their opinions regarding the most accurate way of translating this verse, especially taking into account that the verb used in reference to the inheritance is in the passive mood, meaning the act is performed by someone else. It seems that both ideas of whose inheritance is in view in this verse are valid: 1) that we have been allotted an inheritance by God, which we have; or that 2) God has made us His inheritance, which He has. The KJV reads "we have obtained an inheritance," which doesn't take the passive mood into account. I noted that in the context of this doxology (Eph. 1:3-14), the emphasis upon believers being God's inheritance seemed to be what Paul was emphasizing, which is simply my opinion.

During the dispensation of the fullness of the times, all things in heaven and on earth will all be brought under (summed up) under one Head, Christ (Eph. 1:10), for by this time all sin will have been completely purged out. For He is the fulfillment of God's plan and purpose for both Israel and the Church. However, I do not think this means the Church, which is in heaven (the heavenly kingdom of 2 Tim 4:18), will come down and be a part of the eternal kingdom of the heavens which is on earth, as was promised and prophesied for Israel. Paul makes it clear in Philippians 3:20 that our citizenship (our home) is in heaven, which, I believe, will be true for all eternity.

What I meant by not keeping the law was that they were not able to keep all the commandments perfectly so as to attain a righteous standing before God. This is what the Pharisees of Jesus' day believed, as Paul referred to in Philippians 3:6, where he said, "concerning the righteousness which is in the law," he was considered to be "blameless."

If you can find a church that teaches the Word of God, even if they don't rightly divide the Word, it can be of benefit to you, though you should always search the Scriptures to see whether what is being taught and preached is true according to God's Word. Worship and fellowship with other believers is a definite benefit in our lives. However, if you cannot find a church that teaches the Word, you might have to worship and study the Word with your own family or with friends or neighbors. Hope this helps.
