I hope you and your family had a very Happy Christmas! This annual episode always has me hankering to start a 1/48th scale project. But I am still only in the starting phase of my massive 1/12th scale project, so...............................

The ice cream cart could be repurposed to sell hot drinks or popcorn balls and be used in your Christmas Village! I looove the sewing machine 😻

Love Santa! And the beautiful reindeer. You are the same as just about everyone else, if you say you are going to do something next year, or God forbid, make a New Year resolution, you can be sure it won't be done, well, me and most of my friends and family and, I've heard tell, half the Internet. So, dont beat yourself up about that!

I got some cute little 1:48 people off of eBay, unpainted but there are some seated ladies that seem to fit the furniture pretty well. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and all the best for 25❤ its 4.99 for 16 plastic people in 1:48 I also got some tiny chickens which are actually smaller but look the same scale as PP 3d ducks.

Maybe next year I'll get one! Oh that would have been perfect in the lady of the night's bourdoir! Funnily enough I bought this incense burner thing that painted will look like a dovecote because I just happen to have some tiny doves, I think theyre closer to my 1:18th scale but its still a coincedence!

Happy Christmas to you and your family, and I look forward to all of the wonderful and amusing things you will create in the coming New Year. PS Kudos to your brother and HIS talents.......must be a "family thing" hee hee

I love the figurines your brother painted and the reindeer aren't too big, they are just large bulls. There's been a couple times I've gotten overwhelmed with my dollhouse. Both times I've had to hide it from myself but I built a small room box and that seemed to help me get thru it. One of the rooms I did I just transferred to the dollhouse itself. Just an idea to help maybe.

Everyone goes through phases when their energy towards their hobbies dips, like you said, give yourself some grace and, when you feel more energetic come back to it. I think most of us are adults and understand life has it's ups and downs. I am just really glad to have found you (despite my spending FAR too much when you introduced me to Petite Properties)! I fell right down the 1:48th rabbit hole, I have been gradually getting smaller and thought, at 1:18th, I was happy, of course then I ran across the Woodcutters cottage (the Enchanted Cottages series), I didn't know it was available on Petite Properties as it took finding your channel to get me really hooked and onto their online shop. I am loving it. I bought a couple of sets of 1:48th furniture so I knew the dimensions properly before attempting the kits. I can see myself buying all the cottages on there (including the 1:24th and the 1:43 Railway ones as I could get right into converting them too!) Anyhow thanks for your great but addictive videos and have a wonderful holiday season and a great 2025 to you and yours xx

I use nail art silver and gold caviar beads for handles and lots of other miniature things. (Theres gunmetal colour too in my big box of little hole free beads).

I just went crazy at Petite Properties....thanks lol...I had ordered a couple of sets of 1:48 furniture and was going to build but got carried away on the site! I will build the garden surrounding the cottage I bought!

I've finally almost caught up to the present day in your videos! I especially enjoy your 1/48 scale videos. Working through my own year from hell this year, my Petite Properties kits are waiting next to my worktable, until I am able to tackle them. It's really helpful to watch and listen to your ideas as you work on these properties. You are helping me plan my future builds! Your honesty about your own challenges that leave you struggling to be creative is also really helpful, your efforts to keep sharing with us are very much appreciated.

Hi. Awesome video. If you spray your big tree with hairspray it might help stop the fake snow from falling off. Happy Holidays 🎅🌲

I love what you did with the "loose woman's" boudoir, can't wait to find out what you're doing with the attic..............you always keep this channel interesting, and though it may be unintentional, you always manage to sign off with a "cliff hanger" that builds anticipation. Kudos!

This piece is more than "acceptable" - it's very suitable for your vibe and shows your usual imagination and technique. Not sure what you mean by "Better Content" - everything you post is interesting and inspiring - and NO you don't talk too much. Your "patter" is part of the charm of your channel.

Woohoo tried your idea for using blister packs. Lots of fun. I painted them white and added blue around top of ‘pie dish’. Sadly I brushed some ModgePodge over, and it made blue acrylic paint smudge. Never mind, I can try again. Such a lot of fun and so realistic.

I never thought of using plastic from our medicine, great idea. With painting on plastic, I have one paint bottle with some black paint in it mixed with wood glue. I use this for my base coat on plastic ,metal, and glass. I never have a problem.

Years ago, I made miniature fruits and vegetables for a doll's house using a moulding 'clay' made from breadcrumbs and PVA. It was very successful, and easy to work with. The results were quite satisfactory.
@jaygee2284 ай бұрын
At 11.20, what type of glue are using? It looks like PVA.

Yes Tigers do have whiskers and when you cut them in smaller pieces, you can murder someone with them.🤔 I don't know if that is true, but in the English tv detective serie Father Brown, it was one of the ways to kill a man. 😏

They are great! Three of my favorite veggies, in miniature, adorable. Thank you for sharing. I am very much about using down to earth materials and if I can recycle something, even better. I'm feeling very inspired to make some itty-bitty produce of my own.

What glue do you use? :)
@thegothicunicorn15365 ай бұрын
I use Cosmic Shimmer Specialist Acrylic Glue. I like it because it is fairly runny at first but will set to a more tacky consistency quite quickly which means I can use it for most things.
